TERRORIST FRONT GROUP CAIR is at it again, trying to drum up a phony case that would be classified a hate crime when it is a simple misdemeanor of anti-Islam graffiti.
The FBI and Houston police are investigating a possible hate crime after someone scrawled anti-Islamic remarks on the wall of a southwest Houston mosque. About 4 p.m. Wednesday, anunidentified man entered the Turkish Center Mosque at 9301 W. Bellfort and wrote hateful phrases about Islam and Muslims on the wall, said Dr. Aziz Siddiqi, president of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston, a nonprofit representing 300,000 area Muslims.
Siddiqi characterized the phrases as “very derogatory,” but declined to repeat their exact wording.
“We don’t want this to happen to any community,” he said. “If they did this at a synagogue or church we would be just as upset.(Like hell you would) These kinds of things shouldn’t happen in America.”(But you have no problem with Muslims carrying signs like ‘Kill the Infidels’ or ‘Behead anyone who insults Islam’ everywhere else in the world)
“It’s kind of disheartening when you’re making every effort and someone does that kind of attack,” he said.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) also condemned the “bias-motivated vandalism” at the mosque.
Ewwwww, 'hate crime' cartoon Prophet Mo
“This kind of disturbing incident will only become more frequent unless our nation’s leaders speak out against the rising level of anti- Muslim rhetoric in our society,” Ibra him Hooper, CAIR’s national communications director, said in a statement. (There are way fewer anti-Muslim crimes than anti-Jewish crimes) “A strong response from national law enforcement authorities would send the message that hate crimes targeting the American Muslim community will not be tolerated.” (No, it’s you Muslims who will not be tolerated. Get the hell out of my country)
Dr. Tarek Hussein, president of CAIR-Houston, said he’s worried the incident will provoke anger in the Muslim community. (Good, go back where you came from)
“It’s very upsetting … , but this is not an individual act, this is a product of the media(CRAP! The media almost never say when criminals are Muslims, rarely ever mention that terrorists are Muslims)and this is the product of the extremists who smear Islam and hate Muslims,” (No, it’s ordinary Americans who hate you too)Hussein said. “The problem has to be solved by reasonable people raising their voices and condemning this act.”
The Houston Police Department is reviewing surveillance video to try to identify the suspect, who used chalk to write on the walls of the mosque, said the department’s liaison to the Muslim community, Officer Muzaffar Siddiqi, no relation to Dr. Aziz Siddiqi. The FBI is conducting its own inquiry to determine what happened and whether the incident falls within federal jurisdiction, said Special Agent Patricia Villafranca, spokeswoman for the FBI’s Houston division.
The last such high-profile incident in Houston occurred in 2006, when a sign with anti-Muslim sentiments was left near Abu Bakr Siddqui mosque in the 8800 block of Old Galveston Road. (Gee, one incident in 3 years, must be a trend)
The large plywood sign, written in black crayon, labeled Muslims as the enemy and included a bearded character representing the Prophet Muhammad.(That is NOT a hate crime, that is the truth, Muslims ARE the enemy) Authorities did not investigate the sign as a hate crime because it had been placed against a fence considered public property and not on mosque property.
Last year, the Department of Public Safety reported two anti-Islamic hate crimes, down from four in 2007. (Wow, a regular crime wave)
The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday voted 281-146 to approve the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crime Prevention Act (HCPA), which provides new federal authority to address hate violence. If approved by the Senate, the bill would go to President Barack Obama to be signed into law. (Of course the IslamoFascist Obama will sign this but we will get it rescinded after we drive him out of office) HOUSTON CHRONICLE
