British police release seized video footage taken b y a suspected terrorist cell

Video was released in response to surge of criticism of police for stopping and searching people (especially Muslims) taking photos at popular tourist attractions.

Seized amateur video footage released by British police who claim it shows a suspected Al-Qaeda-inspired cell filming potential terrorist targets. Senior Officers say the Algerian gang may have been preparing for a terrorist attack in London or major shopping centres around the capital. This video was shot on one man’s mobile phone which also shows extensive footage shot in London stations. The five men were arrested in 2008 after one man was seen acting suspiciously.
