Bomb Scare On United Airlines Flight Diverts Plane To Utah

A United Airlines flight landed safely in Salt Lake City due to a bomb threat.

“Flight attendants found a threatening note,” on board United Airlines flight 741, scheduled to fly from Denver to San Francisco, Salt Lake City airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann said. Superintendent of Airport Operations Dave Korzep said it was a bomb threat.

Passengers have left the plane and are being held for questioning by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Gann said. The flight was diverted as a “precautionary measure”, United parent UAL Corp said. REUTERS
