Israelis protested outside the American embassy in Tel Aviv on October 11, throwing shoes and eggs at a poster of President Barack Obama in protest at US pressure to halt the building of Jewish settlements homes.
Israel National News In wake of American pressures for more concessions to the Palestinian Authority and the halt of Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria, activists gathered outside the U. S. embassy in Tel Aviv to protest by throwing shoes at a picture of President Barack Obama, a common Muslim protest act. The photograph that was used shows Obama sitting in his office with his shoes on his desk while speaking on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. “Obama shows us his shoes, we’ll show him our shoes,” the organizers say.
Uri Bar’am, spokesman for the Zionist Activism group that is organizing the protest, explained: “Our purpose is to address the American public and Obama directly and say, ‘This is not the way to act.’ They tell us that they are our friends, but Obama’s brutal behavior by forcing us to accept a racist state alongside us created by ethnic cleansing of Judea and Samaria is simply not acceptable to the Israeli public.”
“Mr. Obama” said Uri Barnea, one of the organizers of the protest, “you prevented the burning of the Koran, but know you’re kicking the Holy Bible. In the Bible, the Promised Land was promised to the Jews.”

Protesters should be happy to hear that Obama’s demand that Israel stop building homes in order to get the peace talks restarted, has failed. AGAIN!
