Candidate Obama dissed the Presidential seal when he used his own version of it during his campaign for the presidency. (See below) And it has been trying to get away from him ever since.
Presidential Seal jumps off the Official Presidential Limousine in an attempt to escape.
WND (H/T Susan K) – It’s called “the Beast” – President Obama’sofficial limousine, that is. It’s a well-crafted, well-protected fortress on wheels that lets people know that this car belongs to the commander in chief of the United States of America. But in a strange occurrence, the presidential seal on the Cadillac may not have recognized the passenger, or perhaps his eligibility to be riding in the vehicle, as it flew off the limo on an interstate highway in Pennsylvania.
“The officer was a part of the presidential motorcade the night before,” Cynthia Wofford of the U.S.Secret Service told the Philadelphia Daily News. “It was turned over, so it wasn’t so obvious, but he found it for us.” The well-known seal of the president, which is actually just a magnetic artifact and is not permanently embossed onto the vehicle, detached from the car on the eastbound side of I-76 while the president was wrapping up a fundraising trip to Philadelphia on Thursday.
The seal was thought to be lost until a city police officer found it Friday on the side of the highway near the Montgomery Ave. exit. Members of Obama’s motorcade actually saw the seal become unhinged from the Beast as it rolled down the highway, and a group of law-enforcement officers hunted for the item unsuccessfully in the dark.
This is not the first time the presidential seal has rejected this president. On Oct. 5, 2010, during an address for Fortune magazine’s 2010 Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, D.C., another presidential seal plunged off the front of the podium and landed on the floor.
