When you look just like the people most likely to be terrorists, you better expected to singled out for enhanced screening. Profiling potential criminals is just good police work. Get over it. Or leave!
Whether it’s being singled out by airport security, or targeted by police, more Muslim Americans report they believe they’re viewed with suspicion, according to a Pew Research poll. (A good thing!) Forty-three percent (ONLY 43? Not nearly enough) of American Muslims surveyed say they’ve personally experienced harassment in the past year, up from 40 percent in 2007. And more than half of Muslim Americans polled say government anti-terrorism policies single them out for increased surveillance and monitoring. (As they should, only MORE!)
