They can get many advertisers by cutting the price of the ads, which you can see they are doing by the steady increase in twofers on each show. That means company buys one spot but gets it aired twice during the show. Although, frankly, all this negative publicity has probably helped their ratings.

This weekend my family and I drove right past our regular home improvement store in order to shop at the nearest Lowe’s, adding an extra 20 minutes to our trip in both directions. We spent $250. I just sent an email to Lowe’s corporate thanking them for their patriotism and letting them know that we will continue to shop at Lowe’s as long as they continue to maintain their brave stand against anti-American sentiment and propaganda.

Considering the nature of Islam… Wouldn’t any effective crusade against it be “anti-viral”?
I realize that this is your blog and you are entitled to spin anything and everything anyone says that doesn’t conform to your beliefs. That’s fine with me, because I feel that everyone has a right to their beliefs and opinions. But let’s get one thing straight: I am not bashing Christians. I am critical of people who claim to be Christians, yet have none of the values that Christ propounded. Do you think that Jesus would agree with the things you are saying? I sincerely doubt it.
As far as being an Islam apologist, well that’s just plain ridiculous. There are approximately 1.5 billion Muslims in this world. If they were as bad as you claim they are, there would be no one left except Muslims. There are fringe terrorist groups, yes, and I am against them as much as anyone is. I would like nothing more than to see those terrorists obliterated. I wonder, though, what percentage of the total Muslim population is made up of terrorists? Could it even be as much as 1%? Is it possible that there might be a percentage of fringe “Christians” who could be considered terrorists? How about the Klan? What about the Westboro Baptist Church? I was brought up a Baptist, and there was no hate ever mentioned in my church. Only the teachings of Jesus — “love your neighbor” and the Golden Rule. So how do you justify the hatred and contempt you feel toward people who are among the large majority of the Muslim religion and who are as against terrorism as you and I? I sincerely doubt Jesus would approve of your agenda. And that’s why I say that those who lump all Muslims together with the small percentage of terrorists are ignorant fascists, and definitely not true Christians.
Interesting that you cannot address any of my points. You merely express that you hate me even more than Islam. Very sad. I hope you don’t have children. You aren’t the ideal role model.
AH, frankly I am sick of answering idiots like you, The Saudi Government reports that about 10% of all muslims are extremists/terrorists. That = 150 million. Even if it’s only 1%, that = 15 million. Still think it’s some teeny weeny minority? We don’t. But the stealth jihadists (you know, the people who look normal but are infiltrating our schools and culture and trying to force their sharia system on the rest of us) are the real danger. And their numbers are far higher than 1% or 10%,

I have to confess that I had temporarily abandoned
what common sense I possess concerning the Internet
and was working on a reply to “A Hamilton,” but I
like your solution better. It has a high degree of
what mathematicians call “elegance”.
We readers are most fortunate in that, after reading
a couple of posts by folk like “Hamilton”, we realize
he has nothing to say we want or need to hear; so we
simply ignore him.
You are not so fortunate. You must read every
post, including the ones we never see, all the while
searching for, writing, formatting and posting the
articles on which we comment. I suspect it is a
harder and more lonely job than most of us can
imagine. And you do it all for love of your country.
“Thank you” is totally inadequate for what you do,

Thanks, ZN, I usually leave the last comment up for which I ban someone, but his were not even deserving of that. And you’re right, I delete and/or ban a lot of comments/people which you never see because I don’t want to waste
your valuable time. I try to adhere to free speech rights as much as possible, but I have my limits some days more than others. And now that this site is being closely monitored by CAIR and others, I have to be careful to edit out threats to muslims and mosques. Threats to me and my family from muslims, of course, are of no concern to CAIR.

2001? If they weren’t flying planes into

our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle
East . No one can dispute the pictures
shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day. Strangely,
the very “moderate” Muslims who’s asses you bent
over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June
4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To
many Americans, their silence has meant approval
for the acts of that day.
And THAT, Mr.
Obama, is the “rich heritage” Muslims have here
in America ..
