He was out driving, when he saw a car similar to his wife’s, driven by a blond white girl. The other car flashed its lights so Tommy pulled over.
A group of Pakistani Muslim youths wearing knuckle dusters poured out. Tommy was knocked out pretty quickly, and they gave him a good kicking.
He looks pretty beaten up, but no bones were broken, and no eyes or teeth are missing. He had a brain scan this morning. We don’t know the results yet.

The only two things Mr. Robinson could have done better was 1) try and see if the license-plate of the other car was indeed that of somebody he knew; 2) keep his doors and windows locked until he could be sure of the other car’s identity. Had he been able to see the thugs jumping out (not so easy in the dark of night), he could have tried to speed off. [Even assuming that the car - as is customary and usual in Europe - had manual instead of automatic transmission, he likely could have been able to get enough momentum in such an emergency in first gear so as to make any running hooligans to really have a run to catch him before switching to second and really getting away.]
This is NOT to criticise him in the least, but simply to point out what ALL OF US can learn from such an incident.
I sure also hope that his home has reinforced doors and windows – and that he’ll now be somehow able to acquire more effective defensive-means than what he might have had up to now…

Angelina, I am in Northwest London, and I a couple of weeks ago I bought some spray things to carry in my handbag. They weren’t expensive at all. The ones I bought if you press the nozzle make a very loud high-pitched noise, the spray has a really nasty smell, and the spray marks the attackers clothes with ultraviolet stuff, that he won’t be aware of. I may go back to the site, as they also sell “pepper sprays”, which might be a better second-line of defense if a loud noise hasn’t put him off. I think mace is illegal here, but these are not.
When I’m walking alone, particularly at night, I carry the little spray can IN MY HAND.

Have checked and like his imprisonment there is a total news blackout on TV and newspapers and on-line (apart from anti -jihad sites). The British government can ask for news blackouts from the British media (including Google) through “D notices”. I have no evidence, but the Brit government and elites are always worried about “community cohesion” from the imported violent factional hordes that enrich us.

You have it right, russel. We recently had an attack by CAIR for what they took to be threats in the comments section against a mosque in Virginia and one in France (actually not a threat to the French one, just commending whomever set fire to a mosque there which did little damage and harmed no one). CAIR tried to get the FBI involved but they weren’t interested so they threatened the webhost, WordPress. I removed the two posts in question. But since I was sure there had to be similar type comments among the 200,000 comments that were on this blog, I volunteered to allow WordPress to delete all comments prior to 11/26/11, which they did. To go thru all 200,000 comments and try to delete the bad ones was a project I didn’t have time for.
But that’s why I have to delete any comments that could be perceived as threats to muslims and mosques.. I do not delete comments that wish for harsh punishment or retribution against muslim criminals and terrorists.
Feel free to say what you want and if I think it’s inappropriate under these new guidelines I will delete it as you have done above. Sometimes it feels good just to get it out, but I will delete it.

Britain pumps quite a bit of oil out otf the North sea. The explosion of the platform “Piper Alpha” was a national tragedy in 1988, killing 167 people. The North Sea oil field has been quite productive. That’s not to say that Saudi money doesn’t have carcinogenic effect on British politics and is producing a wide chasm between public policy and public sentiment.
