Furthermore, camel races have likely been around for many years if not decades or centuries: it’s camels and horses that they’ve traditionally prided themselves upon. To boot, I remember reading gruesome horror tales about how the jockeys for those poor animals are treated (very much Bacha Bazi boys!!)…
Although I agree that islam is evil and preaches evil, I do not believe this kind of story will enlighten people to those facts. This will make you, and all your readers (myself included) look petty. Especially when these same types of contests go on around the world with different animals. Here in America we have 4-H and they do this with many animals. With all due respect, this is immature.

I have heard of dog shows, and cat fancier shows where they judge the beauty of an animal. Even cattle shows. Recently on TROP was the first I heard of a camel beauty contest. What is it called; “Camel Fancy?”
Of course, in such a sexually repressed part of the world like the Middle East, there is perhaps a sexual connotation with all this. It is actually halal in Islam to screw animals, so long as you follow certain ritual rules and regulations.
