In support of multiculturalism, Dutch teachers in Amsterdam took a group of 10-year-old school children to visit a mosque in order to teach them respect and understanding for all cultures. During the visit, the director of the Mouchidine mosque said that “Islam considers all non-Muslims to be dogs.”

In its unusual response to parents, the letter states: “We are surprised that during the tour, the director of the mosque has told the children and their chaperones that non-Muslims are dogs. We believe that this statement was an inappropriate incident, as we offer to children participating in these outings to develop their respect for religious freedom.”
At the same time, the school wrote to the mosque to complain about the conduct of its director. However, neither party will make statements on the subject, which is considered settled by the school. “We will solve this problem by ourselves and I have no intention of discussing this matter with the media,” said Mariet Ten Berge, spokesman for the school, the newspaper De Telegraaf. “We had already gone to the mosque at other times and everything was fine.”
The angry parents have written to newspaper De Telegraaf to say they are shocked by the reaction of the school. “The school wants to reduce the problem to a minimum. This is precisely the problem, “said one mother. “We live in a society in which the slightest criticism of the Islamic ideology is considered racism, incitement to hatred and Islamophobia.”

I have close to 4 months on my work contract left and my Thai wife and I are going for early retirement in August this year.

From all accounts and my personal experience, Christians and Muslims have been rather peaceful since 2005 in Indonesia. If the image predates then I’ll understand given the troubles in Ambon, Sulawesi etc.

The photo of the baby disturbed me. How could anyone, weather a muslim,christian, jew- ANYONE, do that to a child. I know many children die in airstrikes, which is sad. But to stand on a child, no older than 2 years old by the look, and look down into its eyes while it is suffering is completely inhuman, and is the most coldest, callous act I have ever seen. That poor child can only look up and see fate in the eyes of this, stinking rotten, garbage filth of a muslim.
Can you seriously imagine, what would happen if a westerner, did that to a muslim child? We would NEVER hear the end of it, and they would seek worldwide retribution.
When the American’s (I think they were american) soldiers, pi$$ed upon those dead taliban fighters, the muslims were up in arms, and it was published over the Net etc on how wrong it was to piss on them (boo hoo) …what about this little child?? Shouldn’t this picture alone, be used (as horrificly sad as it is) as a proof photo of what Islam and muslims are capable of? Look at how muslims went nuts over the burning of a few korans, yet do nothing as a child is trampled to death…..

The dogs in America are way cleaner than any of them. Have they ever took a sniff of themself I wonder. Is it against their religion to take a shower with a little soap and not just pretend to wash your feet and thing your clean. Water & soap is good for you from time to time, why do they hate water and soap.
I take copies of these dreadful things at every opportunity and I show them to people on buses, at meetings, at church when I go and ask what they are doing about it and there is never an answer – just polite silence. No wonder nobody goes anymore. The churches as almost as silent as the media. Disgusting.
This Mosque leader won’t like me. I believe that Islam is in fact a pagan religion. Before the founding of what is called Islam. Allah the Moon God was worshiped in Mecca.
