Why are feminists anti-Zionism? Why does Hillary Clinton condemn Israel for human rights abuses of women?

It’s no secret that the U.S. State Department and the United Nations are bastions of pro-Arabist/anti-Israel sentiments. But when they charge Israel with unsubstantiated claims of abuses against women, totally ignoring Israel’s unmatched equality and inclusiveness for women in every aspect of life, making Israel the most feminist-friendly country in the Middle East (see sources below), it is beyond insulting, it is criminal.

The U.N. Human Rights Council recently heard a report detailing Iranian human rights violations, including abuses against women, but just three days earlier another U.N. body – one dealing with women’s rights – ended its annual session with a measure condemning neither Iran nor its ally Syria, but ISRAEL.

No place was found on CSW’s agenda to discuss the deadly crisis in Syria or the plight of women in Iran. The resolution criticizing Israel was adopted by a 29-2 vote, with the United States and Israel alone opposing it. Ten mostly European members abstained.
