Originally this island was called Engellund by the Danes and Saxons, eventually becoming just England. The German word for “angel” is Engel — so England means “Land of the Angels”, and was given a special heavenly mission to uplift people and bring good tidings of the Gospel. This spiritual force spread to America, and for 200 years made the USA a land of high achievement with happy people who lived well and helped others in the whole world.
But where the light is brightest, the shadows are darkest. Envy of other lands at the progress and well-being of England and America made many want to destroy our privileges, which their religion and style of government could not provide. God has promised that if we return to Him and follow His will, He will not let us perish. Our hope is in the Lord, and prayer is a mighty weapon. Apply it.

Everything you said is true, but you forget one important factor — the Christian religion provided the quality of virtue, morality and love of freedom that made the English so moral, noble and philanthropic.
When someone asked Queen Victoria why the little island of Britain had been able to have such an enormous influence over the whole world, she answered: The Bible.

All my respect to Paul Weston.
To be honest, i can´t agree to all the points he makes, but what i can understand and what i actually DO respect is the basic tendency of his speech: being proud of your country, its history and culture, is nothing you can´t be proud of. Just the opposite: it´s something you SHOULD be proud of.
Wish politicians in my home country would dare to be so bold.
Keep on going, Freedom Party !

Well, as an Australian with Dutch and Danish heritage, I think Paul Weston is spot on.
We find ourselves taking these achievements for granted and we are lacking the courage to defend those same hard fought for ideals.
We in Australia have just commemorated ANZAC day. A day to honour the fallen in battle and all those who have, and are still serving in the Australian and New Zealand military. Their sacrifice will mean nothing if we meekly hand their legacy over to those who try to intimidate us.
‘There is an imperialism that deserves all honor and respect — an imperialism of service in the discharge of great duties. But with too many it is the sense of domination and aggrandisement, the glorification of power. The price of peace is eternal vigilance.’ Leonard Henry Courtney
Lest we forget.

Bravo!!! All of those things above that he mentioned that makes Western society great could never have been possible in a backwards and unjust Muslim civilization.

I was fortunate to listen to him speak when he came to New York City in February!
Please pass his website on to your e-mail lists! http://britishfreedom.org/
The British Freedom Party (which is like Geert Wilders Freedom Party in the Netherlands) is Britain’s last great hope! Every non-Muslim is targeted by global jihad. Our leaders have deliberately colonized our nations with millions of Islam’s foot soldiers.
I just became a member of the British Freedom Party over the weekend. Membership is open to people in other countries!

I say, ol’ boy…chip, chip, cheerio! (And all that sort o’ rot!)
Well said! Here, here!…
We Yanks across the pond certainly share those same values he spoke of. And much of our democracy in the USA is based on English Common Law. And we here in the USA still retain many of those traditions that hark back to merry old England including in our House or Representatives and Senate. (We open our legislation sessions with a version of “Hear ye”) We have baseball instead of cricket, but baseball certainly is a relative of cricket! We have our own version of football. We have Ford, Chrysler, GM, Chevrolet. Instead of the Spitfire, we had the P-40, and the P-51 Mustang. We certainly have our share of patents and inventions.
And we are proud to say that English is our native tongue in the good ol’ USA. It may not be the Queen’s English, but it is English! We Americans like our English counterparts share in the sense of civility, humanity, fair play, decency, morality, ethics, love of life, respect, love of life, and of course, a good sense of humor! We love the fine arts of all sorts, technology, invention, and innvation. And we have Shakespeare!!!
We share much in our cultures having derived from our English cousins and ancestors. We certainly are pulling for England and all of the UK!
We Yanks got your back!

America, which has taken all the great foundation forged by England and built it’s own impressive story. Thumbs up from the Aussies.

Don’t slouch on your own story, Australians! Your land was primarily hostile to human inhabitants, and yet you persevered and built a nation. You, like us Americans, have (mostly) learned from our errors in our treatment of the native peoples and those brought in as slaves and servants.
We of the Anglophone world led the world in seeking the abolition of Slavery; in having government systems where those not necesarily of the “nobility” have a say in how we are to be governed; in being willing to send our men and women to faraway lands in defense of the rights God has given to Man to determine his own destiny. For the last two centuries, it is the Anglophone world which has stood firm against tyrants and would-be world conquerors.
Are we perfect? No, nor do we claim to be. We have, however, mostly been able to take people from various parts of the Earth, get them to come together to build nations and cultures; to take old forms of music and the classical arts to new heights, and develop new styles of music and new art forms.
*American, British (English, Scottish, and Welsh), and Australian national flags fly and anthems are sung*
Have a great day! 🙂

Wow! amazing… absolutely amazing… I love the way he righteously bearded the muslims towards the end of his talk, and he is SO right. How dare they!
May 1, 2012 @ 2:44 pm
It’s good to finally hear this at last. I’ll bet that the English “common man” has long been waiting to hear this, just as the average American is near-swooning at the rhetoric of Lt. Col. Allen West.

Joseph, Jacob= Manasseh and Ephraim= covenant of Power and wealth = REESTABLISHMENT OF ISRAEL, spreading of the WORD = prosperity!

We stand,we fight with our fellows.
Scottish,Irish,Welsh and English,we have all had our wars against each other,yet here we are !
Together we forged an empire,now we just want our own lands.We did give the world so much,but now it’s time to fight again.

I love this man. Finally, someone proud to be English, speaking up and taking a leading role in politics. Where do muslims want to emigrate to – Britain, Canada, America, New Zealand, and Australia. We need to kick them all out.
May 1, 2012 @ 11:03 am
I love this man. What he says is all true. And I’m not English, I’m an American of German descent, and a proud Anglophile. But how many in England, after decades of the nanny state, still have the backbone to follow him?

Paveline, hopefully a lot soon.

Brilliant speech. He is so right though.

KING HENRY V
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour’d rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o’erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O’erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill’d with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call’d fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game’s afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry ‘God for Harry, England, and Saint George!

That is fuckin’ great!! The English have such an incredible way of putting things.
May 1, 2012 @ 3:03 am
Wow! If only we had a politician as patriotic as Paul Weston. He is proud to be an Englishman but our politicians seen ashamned to be Americans.
May 1, 2012 @ 11:55 am
