Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson asks voters to choose GOP candidate Rabbi Nahum ‘I am an Islamophobe’ Shifren in the upcoming Senate primary on June 5th. In the spirit of Allen West, Rev. Peterson stands for the same Judeo-Christian values and love of country that we do. Not surprisingly, he loathes Barack Obama.

I am a born and raised LA-ite. I don’t think anyone who is not a liberal wacko can get elected in that state. Case in point, Bob Dornan lost re-election, another whos name escapes me, who ran against barbara boxer(he has a conservative think tank group) when I was still there in mid 90′s.
Most recently, the govenor election, I can’t believe they voted for jerry brown, AGAIN! They refused to vote for someone who made Google millions!! Fools. Gee, now they have one huge gov’t deficit, HA HA!!!

I am also an Islamaphobe. In all my life, growing up on Long Island, living side by side with Jews and Christians, in peace, I never thought about Islam, Muslims, or the middle east at all! Kids growing up in the 70′s worried about Russia. There were NO Muslims. I never saw these people where I traveled to either. I am just like that Reverand, I love my country, had a great childhood. Today, because of these people pushing themselves into the west, pushing themselves upon the rest of the world, we must now always be alert and concerned. I cannot believe how quickly 9/11 lost it’s message “NEVER FORGET”, and while we are forgetting, Obama is allowing these Muslims to come into our country by the tons. They aren’t like typical immigrants who die to come here for freedom and a better life, they are coming here to die, to sacrifice themselves at the alter of evil. 9/11 affected my family directly in that my own husband is a survivor, but lately, mentally, I worry about him. He seemed to be fine for all these years, but suddenly, as if out of no where, he is talking kinda strange and bringing up stuff about ground zero, worried about his own health, talking about all the men they lost on 9/11 and beyond, the failing health of his own brotherhood, the cancer, the lung disease, stomach problems, like ulcers, and gastritis, which are signs of developing issues. He works out each day like an anmimal to stay in shape for his job, and for his own health, and I think that has definitely helped him to cope and to sweat out the toxins, the poisons from being at ground zero from day one until June of 02′. This man is a hard working, loving, full of life, human being. His job is always dangerous, life threatening as it is, day in and day out. So much is changing on the job too because of “affirmative action” and Obama’s vision for his people. Great guys who worked hard and studied hard, and past the tests are not getting on the job, and you have to know why. Because they don’t have a minority quota. They recruit men and woman for this job, even if these people never considered it in their life time. Would you want a competant person running into buildings to save you, or some recruit who really didn’t want the job to begin with and are scared Shittless to even be there. This country isn’t WINNING with Obozo at the helm, it’s changing alright, and if we tell the TRUTH like the Reverend in this video has said, only then can we turn this ship around. I am proud that a Reverend, a person of the cloth and a Rabbi are together with their message. AMERICA must NEVER FORGET!

We have two choices: either use the word ‘islamophobe’ against them and neutralize the word through use of the word or come up with another word.

I hope you can coax him into talking to a therapist. I’m assuming he’s a firefighter. They should offer some kind of counseling for the crews.
I understand the frustration with the affirmative action. My ex is a fire figher and 20 years ago he was shaking his head about the “standardized testing” for minorities and women.
I personally am not happy seeing women on the fire crews in my town because I know that while the men on the crews MUST be capable of carrying a 100 pound coil of hose up and down a ladder x number of times the broads only had to carry 25 or 50 pounds half the number of times. Who do you think I trust to carry me out of a burning building?
It certainly isn’t the twinkle toes who think they are men. God, I hate feminists. And it isn’t the ones who didn’t have to score as high on the math tests and can’t calculate the PSI of the hose they’re turning on as quickly or accurately at those who HAD to score higher.
I respect your husband and the job he does. It takes a special breed of man to run INTO a burning building for total strangers.
I sincerely hope there is some counseling services available to him through his department and that he takes advantage of them.
I have always admired Jesse lee Peterson. He is a man of honor and integrity.
I feel that his backing a Rabbi is something that I would agree, but I have doubts about Rev. and Rabbi’s in politics. The dislike of Obama is questionable, but, again just not sure of his sincerity. I do like his attitude toward Islam and not trusting it and the muslims.
We need people like this in New York

African Americans are as capable of critical thought as anyone else. It’s a matter of discounting one’s perceived self-interest while examining the facts.
The ‘real’, long-term self-interest of African Americans may be different than a perceived one.

Muslimania, there are many black conservatives which we rarely see or hear about in the media, for reasons I don’t have to tell you. There is even a Black Republican Coalition based in Texas I think. Herman Cain and Allen West represent a very small, but growing segment of the black population. All the Black people who comment here regularly have been conservatives.
Don’t forget four term former Oklahoma Congressman, Rep. JC Watts. In 1997, Rep. Watts delivered the Republican response to Bill Clinton’s State of the Union speech. In 1998, he became Chair of the House Republican Conference, aligned with then House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Prior to his political career, he was a quarterback for the OU Sooners, and played football professionally in the Canadian Football League in the 1980′s, for the Ottawa Rough Riders, and one season with the Toronto Argonauts. He was the first African-American, Republican Congressman to be elected from a Southern state since Reconstruction following the Civil War, and it must be noted that his election margins always increased as he sought reelection, and therefore, he never suffered an electoral defeat. He retired from Congress in 2003. Watts was also, by the way, an ordained Baptist minister.
The first thing that ran thru my mind when I first heard of Allen West and his bid for Congress was, Here is somebody in the tradition of JC Watts, yet a most dynamic individual in his own right. As things stand now, I Know I was correct.
One of the things Rep. Watts was passionate about was the dire need for Republicans to reach out to the African-American Community, and after all these years, with Allen West’s election, Herman Cain’s candidacy, and other outspoken Black Republicans such as Rev. Peterson speaking out, making a differenc, perhaps we are heeding Watts’ sage advice.
We certainly need to, for we cannot afford to deprive our country, and the Western world of such valuable leadership as these honorable Gentlemen have demonstrated time and time again.

Big problem is even most of us Black non-lefties are in areas where the leftist mantra and politics rules. Thus, you will not see as many Black conservatives as one might like out in the public eye.
Also, most Black folks are too busy just living, and many don’t see why they NEED to be involved. If their enslaved, newly freed, and struggling-to-rise-above-the-racism-and-hate ancestors saw many of them, they’d reach out and hand out S.A.W.s
DS, how does your family feel about your being a conservative? Or are all of them also conservative? I know that the ridicule blacks suffer for going off the reservation must be very hard to deal with, which is why there are probably a lot more than we realize.
I have the same problem being a conservative in a Jewish family with many liberals. When I have to show up at a family function, I never talk about my blog or politics if possible.

Just wanted to stop in and let you know that, even though I don’t come by daily anymore, which is simply because the tactics of the Muslim Crusaders trying to take the western world are so repetitious (are they too stoopid to come up with anything new or do they keep pulling the same stunts over and over because they work?), I’m glad you have the patience and stomach to bring these reports here daily. Every day more people are becoming aware of the threat posed by Islam and that it is anything but a religion of peace.
