Pat Condell, the National Secular Society’s favourite comedian (he has been repeatedly nominated for their Secularist of the Year award, although he has yet to win it) has long had a fan base among the Islamophobic right in the United States. He has recently acquired a new admirer. It’s none other than Bonni Benstock-Intall of the hate site Bare Naked Islam, which achieved notoriety last year for its promotion of violence against Muslims and attacks on mosques. Over the past year or so Bare Naked Islam has repeatedly posted Condell’s videos and hailed him as a fellow anti-Muslim bigot.
I get the impression that even the National Secular Society has begun to find Condell a bit of an embarrassment. The NSS no longer loudly proclaims Condell as a member, urging everyone to watch his Islamophobic videos and pouring scorn on critics who characterised his anti-Muslim diatribes as hate speech. Given Condell’s repeated rants against immigrant rapists, that is hardly surprising. By any standards the material Condell produces these days can’t be characterised as anything other than hate speech, as his enthusiastic endorsement by Bare Naked Islam makes clear. But we’ve yet to hear any leading figure in the NSS dissociate the organisation from Condell or withdraw its earlier declarations of support for him.

I could be the only one opposed here, don’t know, but can’t support Condell since he is atheist.
Atheists through ACLU and other groups are intent on ridding the U.S. of Christianity and all its symbols, including the word ‘God’ everywhere.
I believe they will eventually target all religions attempting to change the U.S. to atheist.
Their vile remarks against Christians and Jews can be found on internet forums and blogs. Many atheists who are anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, anti-Israel post on Salon.com, particularly, when the subject of Christianity, Jews, Israel, or Palestine comes up. They support the Palestinian people. They also are pro-Muslim, even though anti-religion.
Mr. Condell may be unique as far as being anti-Islam, but in my experience, he isn’t the norm.
Barbara, he was a bit anti-Israel a few years ago but now he very much supports Israel. His work is great against Islam, the target of the vast majority of his attacks. Nothing else matters to me.
I must admit, he’s very good.
I am an atheist and only concerned about one religion (or should I say death cult). I have no desire to rid the world of any other peaceful religions including Christianity or Judaism.
Please don’t judge all atheists by the stupid and militant actions of some. These people annoy me as much as they do you.

Actually I don’t know a single pro muslim atheist. We are pro human. I don’t have a problem with religious people if you want to believe a load of ridiculous superstition that is your own business.
I do however have a problem when religion effects me or innocents. I have a problem when homophobic bigots quote the bible about it being a sin but don’t ever mention the other equivalent sins gluttony, wearing mixed fabrics working on a Sabbath etc.
I have a problem when a catholic priest sexually abuses a child, and it is swept under the carpet. I have a problem when the pope goes to an African nation with one of the highest infection rates of AIDS in the world, and tells them that condoms are sinful.
I have a problem which religious people in positions of influence reject Evolution because its only a “theory” but when you challenge them it becomes blatantly obvious they don’t know the scientific meaning of the word “theory” or how it relates to the words “hypotheses” and “Laws.”
I could go on all day but I won’t, but as you can see my problems aren’t with people in general they are with certain views and ideologies and although I don’t really observe religious holidays or care about religious symbols, I would never want to take them away from others. Just some thoughts

CAIR was celebrating getting my “hate site” removed from the internet. But I came back. Let them say what they want. I don’t need to give them free publicity.
I bet their English sucks. Considering the location of the school, I would doubt the parent give a hoot what the kids are learning. Its an easy target teaching students who probably only have one parent. I doubt the parents attend any of the teachers, parents meetings if any are ever held.

if you look at what’s going on in the world from a non-biblical or non-religious view, then learning arabic makes sense. between stealth jihad, violent jihad, western capitulation/nihilism, immigration, and birth rates, the muslims have a good chance of world domination. might as well learn arabic.
of course, there are other players in the one world govt game. so, we need to learn russian and chinese too! if i had a secular orientation, i’d choose chinese. with their sheer numbers, their will to survive, their organization, their need to bring order to world chaos, their military technology and massive weaponry, and their kick-ass attitude, they win. they would not negotiate with arabs for oil, just bomb and take it.

This is not a regular elementary school. It is either a magnet or charter school. Apparently there was a Arabic high school near by that failed. It is still a part of the public school system so I would have a serious problem with arabic/muslim “grace” when the supreme court will not allow a valedictorian to use prayer in their speech.

I read their home page. It does not have a specific territory like an usual school. Anyone in area 6 (a subdistrict I think) can apply. It has a wait list and sorts out who gets in. They also offer Spanish and Mandarin courses as well as the up coming arabic immersion. IMHO Mandarin and Spanish are more utile unless one plans to join the Armed Services.
The size of this school district is daunting. So many that they are identified by 3 digit numbers. San Jose Unified has 30 + elementary schools and it is one of the largest districts in California.
First they teach them Arabic, then they teach them the Quran. Did you see the little girl holding her hands in the Muslim prayer at the beginning? What the hell was that?

It used to be the other way around. The world would desire to learn English for the sake of communicating with the global community. English is the dominant language and always has been. This push to focus on Multi-culturalism is being led by One world order people, their attempt at making public school education the mode to overwhelm our country with anti-American propaganda. They use this program known as the “International Baccalaureate program” and it’s being hailed as this rigorous and elite program that teaches that Everyone can be right, that having a loyalty to your government is wrong when there are so many other governments that are right too. They are pushing this program into our public schools, schools that are paid for by our tax dollars, schools that are run by somebodies dad or mom on the school board, people who have no idea what is mounting outside their little community. You can bet they don’t know that Muslims want to push in and take over the west. No they are too busy trying to brown nose and kiss up that they have subscribed to this program as though they are responsible for the wonderful change it will create in learning, where students excel at their own levels, there is no tracking, the stupidest to the smartest are in one class and based upon their involvment (even if it’s worthless assinine involvement), in the course, that is how they are graded, they show they can master some concepts but it’s the approach and effort that is the focus. That is why they call it “rigorous” but I think all of you who pay taxes in your community, whether you have children or not, should be going to BOE meetings and holding these numbnuts accountable. My kids school has IB program, the idiot BOE trusteee claims it’s here as part of his vision and he plans on bringing it into the middle schools next. This program is not mandated by the state, it is costly and as I said, it is about being a global citizen, in fact it doesn’t like to teach preference for the USA. It’s test are graded all over the globe, not in house. The whole thing is idiotic, but it’s here.
