Well, as Archie Bunker would say about this: “Damn, damn damn”!!I have witnessed waaay too much of this kind of PC crap in my own life. Very recently I attended a lodge meeting with the thought in mind of joining, but NOW I’m having “second thoughts”, with just two members being muslim! I’ve thought since, that perhaps I “over-reacted” to meeting a pair of individuals in front of the building just after my arrival, their names being “Mohamed” and “Ameer” (not sure of spelling on this one). Anyway, I had dinner as a prospective petitioner and after meeting the two muslims out front AND seeing that there is NOW a “Koran” right next to the Bible on the “altar”. I was not at all surprised but nevertheless damn well upset!! After leaving and calmming down,still holding the check for my initiation fee and my petition to join. Long story short…MAYBE it’s God’s plan for me to make certain no more of the aforementioned types join, advancing to the point I can have a say that REALLY counts on that issue!! What is STILL most disturbing about these encounters is the fact that I was going to join tis organization with the primary objective of battling the kind of “undesirable elements” that I was confronted with at my first meeting; thus explains my opening quote from “Ol’ Arch”!!
