Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit…..a real live Muslim Zionist!

His father was a great admirer of Hitler, but Kasim Hafeez writes about his love for Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East.

YNET NEWS  As a child, Kasim Hafeez often heard his father praising Adolph Hitler lamenting only the Nazi tyrant’s failure to kill even more Jews during World War II.

A son to a British family of Pakistani origin, he grew up in a fundamentalist Muslim community that called for the destruction of all Jews and taught him to believe that Israel is a terror state.

Growing up in the Muslim community in the UK I was exposed to materials and opinions at best condemning Israel, painting Jews as usurpers and murderers, and at worse calling for the wholesale destruction of the “Zionist Entity” and all Jews. In short, there was no accommodating a Jewish State in the Middle East.

When speaking to predominantly Jewish audiences, Kasim Hafeez often begins by saying the following words: “When I was in university, I would have gladly killed every one of you.”

But after years of taking part in anti-Israeli and anti-Semitic activity, Hafeez’s beliefs took an unexpected 180-degree turn. The man who now calls himself “a proud Muslim Zionist” has arrived in Israel for a four-day visit on Saturday as part of his effort to battle misinformation about the Jewish state.

“It’s a beautiful thing, Israel is truly a nation of all its citizens,” he added.

The activist and blogger’s perception of the Jewish state changed a few years ago, after he came upon a copy of Alan Dershowitz’s “The Case for Israel.”  He now operates the Israel Campaign, a venture that aims to educate about Israel.

Hafeez said that the media in the United Kingdom demonstrates a deep bias against Israel, a phenomenon he says has a hand in turning the public against the Jewish state. ”Israel can do no right in the UK press,” he said. “Israel is always wrong and everything has a very negative slant.

His mission, he said, is to prevent others from growing up brain-washed, the way that he did. ”A Palestinian state never existed,” he said. “It’s a fact and people don’t know it.

  1. Well, stone me dead, a muslim who I might finally be able to respect. If he is for real, give the man a medal.

    • I have my doubts. I don’t care how much this person says these things in public. I want to see how he talks with his muslim friends when no one is around.

I’ve learned that you basically cannot be a muslim unless you hate Jews. I don’t care what muslims say in public. I’ve seen enough taqiyya to know that a muslims word is worthless. Until someone like a Walid Shoebat vets this guy he’s just another deceptive muslim.

      • Spot on and 100% correct. They are required to lie to non-believers and if Islam is defamed they will be punished so they lie!

    • liz, there is a group in the UK called British Muslims for Israel.

I just got an email from someone I know in the JDL-UK, calling the guy in the story a phony because he supports a 2-state solution. It reminds me of the flak I get every time I post a story about Zuhdi Jasser. The way I feel, these people are putting their lives on the line by speaking up against Islam and for Israel. If they don’t agree with me 100% of the time on every issue, I don’t see it as a reason to throw them under the bus. Israel needs all the supporters they can get, and having a Muslim voice putting himself on the line to do that, is worthy of a little recognition in my opinion.

  2. He’s been around for quite a while. I had a link to his web site, but I cant find it amongst by thousands . !!

This is also good from British Muslims for Israel. This guy goes on all the pro-Israel rallies

  3. “Butter my butt and call me a biscuit”!!!!

LMAO!!!! Oh Bonni, you do wonders at enlarging my English vocabulary!! Thank you for that, you’re the best!

    • Same here Alain. I hadn’t eaten all day because of excess translation work and as I’m eating, I’m reading the title. Suddenly, I wanted a toasted biscuit with butter on it. I’m going out tomorrow morning to buy some biscuits.

      • Susan, I’ve heard people say that this blog inspires a lot of feelings, but hunger has never been one of them. LOL

        • Bonni I think there may well be a vocabulary issue here.

A biscuit in ‘real’ English, is what you call a cookie

        • Shirl, I know that, but here a biscuit is a kind of bread…a little like an English muffin but denser.

        • Poor Susan! :-)

People can substitute to whatever works for their neck of the wood: biscuit, muffin, cookie, toast…. Point here is the imagery Bonni used is wonderful, one I didn’t know and that my wicked/nasty/weird (however you want to call it) sense of humor adores.

        • I couldn’t wait any longer and didn’t want to go out. So, I settled for that first slice of bread in a loaf that nobody ever wants, toasted and buttered it. I swear this is true.

        • There is no such thing as “real” English.:P
*had to get that one in*

That said, I believe most English-speakers would know that ‘biscuit’ has various meanings according to where the speaker originates. I will say that hearing a Jewish New Yorker write in a “Southernspeak” manner had me laughing out of my chair.

        • DS, kind of like when Hillary Clinton puts on her Southern drawl in front of black audiences?

        • Not quite.

What you did was a SOTM (Spur-Of-The-Moment) thing, whereas Hillary Rodham Clinton does it as an act.

Also, that may not always be a good thing for her to do in front of Black audiences, as many are NOT from the South, have never BEEN to the South, and wouldn’t GO to the South if their lives depended on it.

        • If I didn’t know you were being facetious, I might have to reach out and verbally pimp-slap you so hard and in such a way that Ike Turner would rise from his grave to ask me to teach him how to do it right! :P

          j/k on the pimp-slap… :)

        • DS, but wasn’t Bill the ‘first Black president’, according to Maxine Waters or some other moronic congresswoman? Or was it Maya Angeliou?

  4. When I see people like Walid Shoebat, Kasim Hafeez, M. Zuhdi Jasser, and others, I realize that not only are there rational people who have escaped from the hatred and racism of Islam, but there are even people who have remained Muslims without staying crazy. It’s a pleasant surprise, taqqiya not withstanding.

  5. The sins of our Fathers comes to mind . I am glad to see it is taking, to this muslim anyway. Not all are that stupid, once they realize the effects of truth when it is properly exposed to them. I wish and pray for his success. If I were him, I’d get trained up on personal protection tactics or silently carry a rather large stick around everywhere with me. He is, afterall, in the belly of the beast and will surely take heat from his fellow braindead zombies of the muslim brothers in their hood. Good luck son, you’ll need it where you are. Semper Fi

  6. The muslim ‘actually’ agrees that the leftist media here in the UK are anti-Israel, I’ve saying it for years. The BBC, the (students favourite) Guardian, The Sun, The Daily Mirror, Sky News and (I believe) the Independant are all anti-Israel. Only ITV (ITN News) seems to be un-biased, at least their reporters go inside Israel to report on palestinian attacks against Jewish (and Christian, muslim) citizens, the others don’t and some even get their propaganda directly from the P.A.

  7. Off topic, but I can’t help sharing the news with our international allies. It seems there’s an agenda to get rid of the only Conservative muslim in office. The original calls for an enquiry was ACTUALLY called for by the socialist Labour Party! Who would have thought :O

Cameron has agreed to it due to pressure from fellow Conservative MP’s. ‘When’ she’s sacked and her title removed (Baroness <- Title given, not descended from) it will be a result for us right-wingers :D

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/9310849/David-Cameron-orders-inquiry-into-Baroness-Warsi-over-foreign-trip.html

To quote from my favourite newspaper (Daily Telegraph):

“David Cameron has ordered an official investigation into whether Baroness Warsi, the Conservative Party co-chairman, broke ministerial rules by taking a business associate on an official trip overseas.

The Prime Minister asked for an inquiry into Lady Warsi’s conduct after she admitted not fully declaring the facts about her trip to Pakistan with Abid Hussain.”

      • BNI: There’s more to come, she’s also being investigated for living in a house owned by a muslim doctor rent free while claiming expenses for her stay, even though her house is not all that far away from Westminster. Her career isn’t looking good at all, not that it ever was anyway.

  8. ”Israel can do no right in the UK press,”

Similarly, Muslims can do no wrong. If they do, they are called “Asians”. As if Japanese and Koreans in Britain want to be grouped in with them!

    • If you throw caucasians into the mix.. White people also fall into the islamic grouping.

Gone are the days when muslims were referred to as having ‘middle eastern’ appearance, when described by the press and police, now as you correctly point out they’re known as ‘asians’, a massive insult to asians as a whole. muslims see themselves as ‘muslims’, so if the press and police have any respect then they should refer to them as they would like to be referred.. muslim!

  9. Islam is crumbling, because it’s based on subjective lunacy.

    This brave man gets it.

Moslems have to see the truth piece by piece. The massive brainwashing of Islam is hard for Westerners to comprehend.

What crumbled on 9-11 wasn’t just the Twin Towers…it was Western ignorance of Islam.

Westerners are exposing and revealing this vile DEATH CULT to Moslems who have never realized they are brainwashed or cultists.
