My wife and I meet a nice Christian Orthodox couple from Russia when we were out hiking in somewhere in New England one weekend. We were hiking and chit-chating them for about an hour, they had told us one of the reasons they left Russia was because of muslim immigration.

If I had to choose between living under Islam or Communism, I’d pick Communism in a hot second.

Just did a quick search, I never knew the measures Stalin took to combat Muslims. I respect and applaud what he did, which was done, not from evil intentions, but out of necessity for the defense and literally the very survival of his people and country, to combat this evil.

I think Al is partially right. The Russians and Chinese have never been shy about the use of brute force when they perceive a threat. One only has to remember Chechnya and the Falun Gong to realize that.

As much as I have some sympathy for the Russians, I ca’nt help but remember how the Cossacks had no problems terrorizing the Jews and getting many of them to leave Russia. 2 of my grandparents for example. Now they are faced with a population that really does want to do them harm and what are they doing about it?
