News Channel France 24 hosted a panel to discuss Egypt’s new president, Mohamed Morsi, of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom & Justice party. One of the guests on the panel, via satellite from Cairo, was Nader Amram, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s foreign relations committee. The other guest was an Israeli. Grrrrrr…if looks could kill.
Weekly Standard (H/T JFI) When Amram learned that an Israeli journalist was also included on the panel, he protested that he had not been informed beforehand that he would have to appear with an Israeli. He then launched into a mini-diatribe about how Israel is the real problem in the Middle East and refused to discuss matters further with the Israeli.
And that’s what is called “a journalist” in Egypt’s enlightened democracy.

I don´t think they are going to atack Israel cause atacking Israel means atacking the whole western world and that would mean a tragical end on all levels for that country. Egypt is now divided into two main ideologies:a spectrum of fanatical religious extremists on one side and a conglomerate of other political parties on the orher.
I think, Mursi will be being very busy from now on trying to estabilize this critical situation if he wants to survive himself as chief of goverment.
I don´t think he is interesting in a war against anyone cause the future of the country is neither in Hamas nor in Iran but in the western world: tourism, financial suport, estability in social and political affairs so that investements trust that country.
In a war, the MB has now more to lose than to win.

The decades long persecution that forced out the large Jewish population of Israel (often w/no just compensation for their property) practically in its entirety leads me to believe that Egypt was always an islamofascist state w/the only difference being the level of persecution meted out to non-muslims.

Cargo ship carrying suspected Pakistani stowaways arrives in New Jersey

NEWARK, N.J. — A cargo ship carrying stowaways from Pakistan — some believed to be dead — arrived at Port Newark, N.J., Wednesday.
US Customs agents and Coast Guard personnel took charge of the scene after Port Authority police swarmed the port at Berth 57 to meet the ship, a Port Authority source said.
Port Authority police were tipped off to the stowaways aboard the Villa De Aquarius, but officials did not say how.
“They’re coming in to Port Newark, that’s what we know at this point,” a source said.
A Port Authority police spokesman did not immediately respond to calls.
Police were notified about 7:20am local time, law enforcement source said.
“There is a faint knocking coming out of a container very close to the bottom of the pile.”
“It’s going to take a while to get all those containers unloaded to get to this one,” the official said.
The ship has been at sea since June 11, after making stops in both Egypt and Pakistan.
