On June 30th The English Defence League staged a peaceful protest at Dewsbury Town Hall, about the problems that Dewsbury has with radical Islamists and Muslim integration, as well as the failure of both local and national politicians to acknowledge that these kinds of Muslim problems even exist.
Durotrigan It was peaceful demonstration, but certain local MPs and opponents of free speech called for the demo to be prohibited and the SWP has, as is its wont, formed a local front group in the town named ‘Dewsbury Unity’ to mount a counterdemonstration. Recently elected (Dis)Respect MP George Galloway and Labour MP Mike Wood penned a joint letter to West Yorkshire Police Commissioner Sir Norman Bettison asking for the EDL to be banned from protesting in Dewsbury, but thankfully this request was not granted.
The statement released by the SWP-directed ‘Dewsbury Unity’ is worth quoting to highlight the absurdities of their propaganda which is swallowed wholesale and regurgitated by the mainstream media:
The EDL is a
racistpatriotic group dedicated to attacking Asian people and Muslims. (No, ONLY Muslims) Islamophobia –bigotry(justifiable opposition) against Muslims — is as unacceptable as any other form of racism. Its aim is to divide us by making scapegoats of one community, just as the Nazis did with the Jews in the 1930s. (Jews in the 1930′s were not attacking Europe) Today the EDL threaten Muslims. ‘The Islamic Republic of Dewsbury’ is a place to watch! If people in the UK don’t wake up or ‘stop pretending to be asleep’ then more and more of our beautiful gentle democratic country will very slowly go this way.
In Dewsbury there are ‘no go’ areas(especially at night when Muslim youths roam the streets). The same youths who are living on benefits also intimidate and attack the elderly and vulnerable in the Town centre. Half the shops in the centre are closed and many of the others are muslim bed shops. There are a disproportionate number of fast food shops (kebab take aways etc). These ‘cash’ businesses enable the heroin dealers/importers to launder money and send it back to Pakistan in order to fund terrorism. The once vibrant market is dying and a third of the stalls are run by asians.
There is a two tier legal system. Dewsbury has a shariah arbitration court and is the home to the markazi masjid mosque home to the tablighi jamaat. The leader of the 7/7 London bombers mohammad sdique khan is also from Dewsbury.
The majority muslim population is mostly from Pakistan and India bt more recently their numbers have been swollen by Iraqi Kurds and Hungarians. The muslim dominated areas of Savile Town and Raveshthorpe are designated ‘no go’ areas by the authorities for the EDL Demonstrators! In fact the Domonstrators were kept in a large ‘cage’ for the main part of the Demonstration (as far as I know, I wasn’t there unfortunately). The UAF were on the other side of the road, incidentally only 30 turned up despite organising coaches!
The MP for Dewsbury is shahid malik a muslim (more on him another time!). Baroness warsi an unelected life Peer and co-chairman of the (dhimmie) conservative party also comes from Dewsbury. Her father being one of the bed shop manufacturers. She refuses to condemn the wearing of headscarves and has recently been embroiled in an expenses scandal which will no doubt be brushed under the carpet by David Cameron. And here’s one reason why: In 2010 the muslim vote was estimated (by MPacUK the muslim public affairs committee) to be the deciding factor in 82 marginal constinuencies. ‘A crucial element in a close bsttle to get an overall majority in a 646 seat Parliament’.
The recent scandal of child grooming and sexual abuse of under age white girls by muslim men has brought Dewsbury into the spotlight. In Rochdale the fear of upsetting the muslim population meant that the authorities took many years to investigate the same sex abuse allegations. Despite the guilty verdicts and naming of the muslim perpetrators the MSM still insist on calling them ‘asian’. Vote rigging is also rumoured to be rife here.

I should also add that the vast majority of my friends, colleagues and neighbours have no idea what I am talking about when I talk about the islamisation of Europe,the UK and the USA. They talk of the koran as a book of peace and start to yawn and laugh it off when I mention the dangers we face. I think they see me as ‘extreme’ in my views and I make them feel uncomfortable. The blackout of almost all negative muslim related news (but entusiastic cheering of the arab spring now winter) by the left wing disgraceful MSM, supported by our terrified and weak politicians is contributing to the growing strength and spread of the cancer within.
