‘Bye Bye Miss American Pie’ – Propaganda about taking out an Afghan target

Some America-hating leftie or Muslim has accused the US of killing a’ poor innocent Afghan farmer’ and then singing about it.

This is the YouTube video description: While on patrol in the Wardack province our Apache Pilots aka ‘Mexican’ encountered innocent farmers planting poppy seeds in the middle of the road. Working in concert with ground forces they eliminated the threat with ONE Kilo Hellfire. (How/why would you plant anything in ‘the middle of a road?’)

  1. Innocent farmers?! Planting poppy seeds in the “middle of the road?!…Bullsh–!! More likely that they were planting IED’s, and they were NOT bloodly likely ‘innocent’ or ‘farmers’!!

    • Amen, Harpman. What’s amazing is the number of idiots on ytube who actually believe that “innocent farmers” are planting seeds in the middle of the road…at night.

Flipping fools can’t even pull their heads out of their leftist and musloid asses long enough to see the FLIR in the upper right corner.

Even the “fascists” of the American military don’t have FLIR with such crisp contrast during daylight hours.

We’re fighting more than one front in this battle. We’re fighting the muslim supremacsts and the leftist morons who believe any bullshi’ite story, IN SPITE of evidence to the contrary, that paints muslim supremacists as victims.

  2. As my old friend Master Chief /GMG/ Palmer used to say…Good show ! jolly good show ! As i say —> Damn fine shooting ! (SFPBUT)…(superior firepower be upon them )

  3. How stupid can you be to even make a statement that they were planting poppies in the road, unless of course they mean it in and explosive way!
If the worst thing is to sing a song of Bye, Bye American Pie, Just remember, they were singing and dancing, in the streets on 911, and then refused to let us in to get Ben laden. So tears of the mohommedist sustain me.

  4. Of course, planting poppies in the road is bull shit. IEDs are what they plant in the road. ADIOS Mo. Have a nice trip.

  5. They were clearly planting IED’s to take out convoy vehicles. Screw the leftie scum who say otherwise.

A little O/T, but since we’re on the topic of rotary winged aircraft (helicopters), during my tour in Iraq, I got quite familiar with AH-64 Apaches and their Hellfire missiles. My army specialty is petroleum supply. My job was to fuel helicopters. This is done two different ways. One is called cold fuel, which means fueling an aircraft as it is parked and shut down. The other is hot fuel. Hot fuel is a tactical technique used to get an aircraft fueled up, re-armed, and back into the fight quick. It means while the rotorblades are still turning and the aircraft engines are fired up and running.

Obviously there are extreme dangers involved with this, but training and equipment go a long way to mitigate the hazards. When hot fuelling an Apache, the fuel port, gages and switches are located on the aircraft’s right side, above head level and in two compartments. The Apache has 3 fuel tanks, and switches for them.

The fun part is when hot fueling them, one has to approach the aircraft from the right, rear yet not too close to the tail rotor, then underneath the winglet holding the weapons pod, all the while dragging the heavy fuel hose with you. When you bond to the aircraft and hook up to the fuel port with the D-1 Nozzle, you are pretty much literally sitting atop that Hellfire missile, lol.

Even funner is doing it at night, using only red or green tactical chem lights for illumintion.

All in all, my unit pumped about 3 million gallons of Jet-A (JP-8) fuel into Blackhawks, Chinnooks, Apaches, and a few Kiowa helicopters within a 9 month period, running the operation 24/7 from 4 different locations. Fun stuff, especially in temperatures in excess of 134 degrees F.

    • Randy, why do you think they sent the entire SEAL team out over Afghan enemy territory in and old and very slow helicopter? Where is the investigation?

      • If you are refering to Seal Team 6, they were shot down in a CH-47 Chinook, which is actually a faster flying aircraft than the UH-60 Blackhawk. Even faster than the AH-64 Apache. Still, Helicopters are by nature, slower than fixed-wing aircraft, and due to Afghanistan’s operational environment, numerous mountains, valleys, and rugged remoteness, helicopters do have their advantages at quickly inserting combat teams and supplying them. Of course I’m not privy to any real details of this tragedy or it’s investigation, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there is much being covered up (the connection with the OBL mission by Seal Team 6). This administration does have a penchant for covering things up, as we all know.

        • Randy, I was surprised that congress did not call for an investigation. I wouldn’t take the word of BO or his cronies, even in the military, for anything.

        • I am not much impressed with Congress’ performance regarding the administration’s bullshit. Aside from finding the criminal thug from Chicago in contempt of Congress, and a few decent Congressmen, they, as a body, have done precious little in the way of challenging Obama’s penchnt for abusing executive perogative by sidestepping Congress. They clearly need to strongly assert their legislative authority.

You certainly are correct about that den of vipers in the White House. None can be trusted.

        • The Military ?!? The Generals and Admirals are far too busy promoting and protecting queers and things like “rules of engagement” and kissing Obama’s ass to do anything for the cannon fodder fighting men.
It’s a damn good thing they aren’t elected ! The conservatives, the vets, and the tea party would have them out on their butt !

    • Randy, you just gave me the heebeejeebis reading your description of fueling hot helicopters. Quite frankly, Randy, you have brass balls and an iron tallywhacker!:)

Nothing, but nothing, could or would ever compel me to get that up close and personal with a running helicopter. Everyone has their primal fear such as dying by fire, drowning, etc. Mine is getting cuisine arted by rotating blades.

      • Lol. Believe it or not, I have a morbid fear of heights and spiders. Not enough to be afraid of flying, mind you. I’ve flown on many occasions, and will again. As for spiders, I don’t run away from them, I just usually kill them since they creep me out.

      • You have to approach it right, from the sides. You haven’t lived until you rapelle from a huey 100 feet at night.

        • Yes, and certainly NOT the front, but with the Apache, one must come up behind the weapons pod to access the fuel port on the right side of the aircraft. One is still approaching from the side, but just a bit from the rear, sort of obliquely.

As far as air assault stuff goes, well, lets just say, Oh hell no! Lol. I’m 48 yrs old, never got the badge “punched into my skin” above the right breast pocket, and i’m not gonna start now. Though I love flying in military aircraft, i’m still scared of heights, though I will sling load as ground crew or do aerial gunnery all day, all night if need be, and I have yet to use the “puke bag.” That shit is just fun.

My hat goes off to you for your service. :)

  6. That is a live leaks video. They appear on Weasel Zippers all the time. I don’t think any leftie made the statement that it was farmers planting seeds. I think that was pure sarcasm. Live leaks make alot of combat videos that look like video games, blowing muslims up.

  7. Bye, bye, Miss American pie…drove my Apache to the levee to watch the koranimals fly…

    Lol..too funny!

  8. OT – $16 bn for Afghanistan

[...]Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who will be in Tokyo along with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon, has called for $4 billion a year in civilian aid,

[...]announcement came hours after Clinton said the United States had designated Afghanistan a major non-NATO ally, giving the war-torn country special privileges. Clinton announced the move, which provides a long-term framework for security and defence cooperation, during a brief visit to Kabul where she had a breakfast meeting with President Hamid Karzai.

“We see this as a powerful symbol of our commitment to Afghanistan’s future,” Clinton said at a news conference after talks in Kabul with Karzai.

U.S. gives ally Afghanistan special security status

[...]The status upgrade may help Afghanistan acquire U.S. defence supplies and have greater access to U.S. training

[...]Participants at the Tokyo meeting are expected to commit just under $4 billion annually in development aid for Afghanistan at Sunday’s meeting, though the central bank has said the country needs at least $6 billion a year to foster economic growth over the next decade.

This is on top of the $4.1 billion committed annually by NATO and its partners for Afghanistan’s security forces, pledged at a Chicago summit in May.

Major donors and aid organisations have warned that weak political will and graft could prevent funds reaching the right people at a critical time, when fragile gains in health and education could be lost if funding does not continue.

Assuaging those fears, Clinton said: “We are well aware of (corruption) but this is an issue that the government and people of Afghanistan want action on.”

Transparency International ranks Afghanistan as one of the world’s most corrupt nations

U.S. officials may be reluctant to cite a specific pledge because the sum actually given is ultimately controlled by Congress, which holds the U.S. government’s purse strings. Enthusiasm for foreign aid has generally waned in Congress because of massive U.S. budget deficits.

  9. I don’t see what the problem is. My only concern is he didn’t kill more of our enemies – backward, retarded Muslim savages…

  10. Thanks, BNI, for this great post. Made my day! What a beautiful sight to behold! A Satan-worshiper being blown apart by one of our Hellfire missiles as he tries to plant an IED in the road to kill our troops! GREAT video! US troops: travel agents to Allah (Satan)! Love it! G-d bless our troops.
