A 17-year-old MUSLIM shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ Arabic for ‘God is Greater,’ as he unsuccessfully tried to grab the Olympic torch during a stretch of the flame’s route through Maidstone towards Redhill. Broadcast live on the BBC, the MUSLIM lunged from the crowd to try to take the torch from the hands of its bearer Anna Skora, but was swiftly bundled away by officers.
UK Daily Mail (H/T Martin) In one video posted to YouTube THE MUSLIM can be seen waiting behind a car and as Ms Skora gets closer he lunges towards the torch. Ms Skora was about to hand over the torch to Graham White, a Surrey charity worker, when the MUSLIM teenager burst out of the crowd and tried to grab it.
The MUSLIM managed to get through the line of police officers escorting the torch as it headed through the town. One of the officers at the back of the group swiftly grabbed hold of Ms Skora and the torch, guiding them to the opposite side of the road.
Four or five of the other torch guards then bundled the MUSLIM man to the side of the road where he was then arrested. Ms Skora managed to keep the torch upright throughout the ordeal and she continued to smile as she completed her stretch of the Olympic flame relay.
Those police officers don’t have guns? What if they muscumlim had a suicide vest on? I just can’t believe they don’t have the proper tools for the job.

I think the term is deadman switch. Trains commonly have deadman switches. this means the train only keeps going as long as someone is pressing the button, switch or pedal. If the button, switch or pedal is released the train stops or the bomb goes off.

Further, he thought it best that they alert the IOC Opening Ceremonies producer of their intent – just so that the Italians, in line to march in right after the Israelis, will know to stop, too!

When one of my daughters was in high school, we had some of the summer stuff here in the States and my daughter got to carry the torch at the time for a good distance. There is real pride going on there, and to have this putz (who will never understand the West) try to screw it up and ruin it !!!

I cannot believe how these games have changed. When we had the games in Sydney, sure we had security, but it was a fun experience in regards to the Games themselves. Today- I would not go to the U.K. for the Olympics, even if I won free tickets. Islam, is the dominating worry factor with these games. Why the heck should there be a worrying factor, when all the games are, are athletic sports events etc? There is no religious motive, no racial one, so why should there be a threat?
