Islam and the Right have a lot more in common on the issue of same-sex marriage and general treatment of gay people that the Left and Islam do.
I used to think this website was focusing specifically on the threat of Islam, but I’ve began to notice underlying homophobia, white supremacy and christian fanaticism. (which is unnecessary and has nothing to do with the threat of Islam)
The reason most people probably think that right-wing anti-islamists are nuts is probably because they are also homophobic, they themselves are usually religious extremists (just not Islamic ones) and they are sometimes white supremacists.
FYI, there is no logical reasons to not support same-sex marriage unless it comes from a religious motivation — and its irrelevant of whether you think Jesus, Allah or Muhammad told you its not ”halal”. Its all the same.
If you dislike gays so much, why not form a protest group with your co-religionist Islamists. You can protest for Chick-fil-A’s right to be homophobic, and the Muslims can protest for them to make their food halal. Kill two birds with one stone.

Buddy, marriage in the 21st century in the Western world, is something recognized and regulated by the STATE. Not sure if you’ve noticed, but divorce is also legal these days too.
If you want a church-based marriage, as in a union between a man and a woman…then there is a place to do that. It is called a church, and they have the right to do that.
But the government, a secular institution that is supposedly separate from religious control, does NOT have to follow what it says in the Bible, and you or anyone else do not have the moral authority to tell other people what they can or cannot do.
And ”marriage” is not something that Christianity has a monopoly on. If you are so worried about sanctity of marriage being ruined, then fix up your own house first and perhaps try to stop adultery, abortions and divorce before you bother trying to tell gay people what they can and can’t do.
You don’t have the right to define marriage for those who aren’t part of your church. That type of behavior, setting the rules for everyone, is characteristic of Islam.
As for creating children…well Islamic marriage creates more. So maybe Islamic marriage should become legal. Its more efficient in creating human beings with shared DNA.
I know what Islam is like, but you seem to be forgetting that Christianity was just as bloody and barbaric at one point in its history (is this something you forgot or something you are nostalgic about?). It is after all only the 1400′s according to the Islamic calender.
