Royal Flash, thank you. I was a river boater. We were operating on the Perfume river between Hue City and Tam My. We were there for the entire 68 Hue City offensive. I arrived in country in August 1966 and departed in April 1968. I went back to Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos in 1970 as a civilian contractor. We supported the US military mission and all Anti-Communists indigenous forces in all three countries. I have been supporting the US Military internationally since then. I have 26 years in Islamic countries in both the Middle East and Africa. That’s where I met most of my Brit friends. My last international assignment was in Iraq supporting the Iraqi police training academies, we were attached to CPATT. If you do a Google search I think there may still be some info on line about our CPATT operations in Iraq. Keep up the fight.
