Chicago area Congressman Joe Walsh gets an ‘A’ for effort but his targeting of only Muslim extremists as being the main threat to America is very short-sighted. The kind of Islam followed by extremists is the exact same kind of Islam followed by all Muslims.
And now the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist-affiliated CAIR is demanding an apology from Walsh.

You were wise to give Walsh a little slack here – assuming he’s honest and passionate about his warning about “radical islam” and its infiltration throughout our gov’t and, indeed, so many organizations and levels of American society!
I had to laugh, of course, when I thought, “The poor guy can’t win for losing!” He’s getting shit from the evil twins of Regressivism & pisslam on the Left and now a bit less shit from the Right for not coming out an condemning pisslam as a whole. But you’re right, he IS working “within the established framework of political correctness in public discourse.” And for even the most “aware” politician, that’s a very important constraint to recognize. But, like you, I’m cautiously hopeful that he – and others – will “one day have the courage to lose that protective shield!”

Good on Walsh but I was disappointed to see him pussy foot around the issue. Even Bill Maher had the guts to call the koran a hate filled holy book to Keith Ellison’s face.
