America’s elite Navy SEALS hit back at Obama’s ‘condescending and belittling’ comments about the SEALS role in the Osama bin Laden assassination. And as expected, the sleazoid Obama campaign thugs hit the SEALS right back.
The Atlantic Wire Politically speaking, Navy SEALs aren’t the safest targets to rail against in a presidential race, but the Obama campaign isn’t hesitating to take down a group of former SEALs who’ve criticized the president’s national security decisions.
On Thursday morning, campaign officials waged a full court press against the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund, a group of former U.S. Special Forces and intelligence officials accusing President Obama of leaking vital national security secrets and taking too much credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden. When the group launched its anti-Obama media campaign Wednesday, consisting of TV ads and a 22-minute film (below), it wasn’t clear if Obama officials would avoid a potentially messy confrontation or refute the military veterans publicly. But now the campaign has made clear it views the attacks in the same light as the 2004 John Kerry “Swift Boat” attack ads, which, however misleading, were painfully effective.
Taking a direct shot at the leaders of OPSEC, an Obama campaign official lambasted the group’s accusations about national security leaks this morning. “No one in this group is in a position to speak with any authority on these issues and on what impact these leaks might have,” said the official, speaking on background, “and it’s clear they’ve resorted to making things up for purely political reasons.”
Apparently, the administration has decided this is a battle worth fighting, a calculation that has its own risks and potential payoffs.
As a May 2011 USAToday/Gallup poll showed, Americans overwhelmingly credit the U.S. military and the CIA for the mission over the president. “The U.S. military and the CIA emerge as the big winners in the public’s eyes,” wrote Gallup’s Frank Newport. “Nearly 9 of 10 (89%) say the military deserves ‘a great deal of credit,’ while 62% say the same about the CIA.” At the same time, it’s possible that OPSEC’s message could gain traction and hurt the Obama campaign.
Additionally, as The Los Angeles Times’ Ken Dilanian notes today, a number of OPSEC leaders identify as Republicans, such as Fred Rustmann, who worked for the CIA for 23 years before retiring in 1990, Scott Taylor, a former Navy SEAL and chairman of OPSEC, and Chad Kolton, an OPSEC member and former flack in the Bush administration. At this point, the effectiveness of the OPSEC attacks rely almost exclusively on the identity of who’s leveling the attacks (former Navy SEALs) rather than the merit of the attacks. Still, the jury’s out on whether it’s a fight worth picking for the Obama campaign.

obama will say and do anything to get re-elected, including taking full political advantage of the work of the military and in doing so put their efforts at great personal risk and danger to them and their families, to gain some political popularity. Only a selfish fool would give up military intelligence to win some votes. Scott and the rest of the retired warriors are to be thanked and listened to and not to be dismissed as not worth the effort. I pray that all retired and active military soldiers and their family members will vote no to obama in November because of the risk he has put them in by his loose lips. I’m sitting here with boiling blood — it’s clear that President Hussein wants Seals and our American heroes to be killed, he is killing them just as if he fired a gun at them himself, he hates them. He is responsible for the death of a lot of Seals when a helicopter carrying them was shot down —- the enemy knew where they would be and when and who this helicopter was carrying — Pres. Hussein told them. Why hasn’t this filthy traitor been impeached? He’s committed more than 60 crimes, any one of which would be worth his impeachment, but the traitors in Congress do nothing. Hussein must be impeached NOW before the election, because if he loses (and he will lose) he would still get his salary for life, and I don’t want any more American money wasted on this criminal.

When I got my copy, I couldn’t put it down and read it through all night until I was finished — what a story. You will want to get dozens of copies and give them to everyone you know. This is the story of a real American hero, of the wonderful friends and family of this hero, of Americans as we have known them and loved them. Please get all the Moslem scum out of this country, burn every Koran, close every mosque, expel every Moslem — send these people back to their islamic countries where they can legally cut off hands and feet, murder their daughters and fuck animals — they would be happier there, and we would be happier without them.

Obama/democrats have been murdering American soldiers as early as 2004…Democrats have been working with enemy agents giving location of American troops that have been causing massive American soldiers deaths! More and more American soldiers have been coming home with missing limbs or DEAD! It is comforting to read the comments here – 100% for impeaching the s.o.b. But the GOP is asleep and is not using the tons of material that Obama has given us to defeat him. There was no misrepresentation in what those who served with John Kerry in Vietnam had to say about his abilities and/or lack thereof. And they certainly had him dead center on his lack of values. He committed treason and Jimmy Carter covered it up, but the facts never matter to some. Witness our establishment press and TV media. Over the summer, I’ve gone to the theatre to see several movies at which EVERY one, the preview/trailer for the Hollywood version/courtesy of Obama version of OBL’s demise, “Zero Dark Thirty” . The movie isn’t scheduled for release until December (after the election), but every theatre plays this preview. There is no preview offered for Dinesh D’Souza’s film 2016 either. This 22 minute OPSEC film should have it’s own preview prepared and distributed for equal exposure to counter Hollywood’s insult to our intelligence. Hollywood should stick with entertainment and stay out of politics unless all sides are given equal opportunity to expose the public to their message.

Well when the Cole was bombed Clinton did nothing . They knew it was Bin-laden and the CIA caught him . But he was with our friends so Clinton said no way in hell.
