Saudis offer an electronic tracking device for disobedient Saudi slaves/women

They already are denied the right to drive and the right to travel without consent from their male partners. Now, women in Saudi Arabia are apparently being monitored by a system that tracks them entering or leaving the country.

al-Arabiya  Since last week, Saudi women’s male guardians began receiving text messages on their phones informing them when women under their custody leave the country, even if they are travelling together.

Manal al-Sherif, who became the symbol of a campaign launched last year urging Saudi women to defy a driving ban, began spreading the information on Twitter, after she was alerted by a couple. The husband, who was travelling with his wife, received a text message from the immigration authorities informing him that his wife had left the international airport in Riyadh.

“The authorities are using technology to monitor women,” said columnist Badriya al-Bishr, who criticised the “state of slavery under which women are held” in the ultra-conservative kingdom. Women are not allowed to leave the kingdom without permission from their male guardian, who must give his consent by signing what is known as the “yellow sheet” at the airport or border.

So, what provoked the new control method? Local media has reported that controversy caused by the escape of a Saudi woman to Sweden recently triggered the move.

  1. Guess I should not post before my first cup of coffee – the school district is in San Antonio, TX and it is an ID (not IS) badge.

  2. Shades of what the NSISD is requiring all students wear IS badges embedded with a tracking chip. Funny it is a female student that started the protest. And there are those who think this chipping is OK.

  3. To supposedly be such a ship of manly men, Muslims are pathologically obsessed with and fear women almost beyond belief. Seriously, grow up sissy boy Muslims, you’re stunted at about toddler level. And, yeah, I’ll tell you to your face.

    • Gynophobic and misogynistic founder, hence a gynophobic & misogynistic cult.
…and you are dead-on about muzzie males being cowards, their idea of a ‘fair fight’ is 2 gunmen vs. a UNarmed 14 yr old girl on a schoolbus, cornered.

      Big, brave mighty-muzzie-males…
Our Kitten, Vesta, has more spine, bravery and stand-up-ish-ness than any five muzzie males. :-D

  4. Where are the liberals/leftists/feminists on this issue? Too busy working on their plan for the govt to pay for birth control pills/devices/condoms for college students?

  5. Dragon: You’re assuming that’s a woman under that body bag. I think we’ve stumbled on a Muzi homo secret and why the male Muzi’s insist on covering everything but the eyes.

    • EXCELLENT point Sarge; I was wondering when someone would bring up that possibility…….Or maybe I should say “probability”!!……No one ever really knows just what lurks beneath a burqa!!

  6. sad for her. authorities will probably do nothing and she will be killed how is woman in photo allowed to wear jeans under burka?

      • “No one will be able to buy or sell without it”?!! THAT sounds like a hell of a lot more than just a simple tracking device!!” THAT sounds like the “Mark of the Beast” without which NO ONE will be able to buy or sell!!

      • yeah, of course, it won’t apply to men, strictly women. Soon, you be sure that arabia and other islamic regimes will be RFID chipping all women ‘for security of women’ of course, but as usual, males won’t have to submit to that.
Wanna know where the wife is, look it up on your iPhone…
She’s out of bounds, well, good thing that alarm alerted you her breaking shariah, better send the religious around to get her back inside and adjust her attitude.

Yeah, all the surveillance tech we worry about WILL be hardcore applied to women in muslim nations.

I cannot state how much, how deeply and how totally I loathe and detest this despicable criminality called ‘islam’.
Some wacko named mohammed-the-plagiarist cobbles together a bunch of made-up ‘revelations from an equally made-up deity to claim them from, and it’s persisted this long…
        Makes ine wonder, yes??

      • Actually, once they start on women – AND as the technology gets more sophisticated (incorporating GPS, then also sensors for breathing and heartbeat-rates, micro-cameras even) – it will spread to everybody (this also could be used as a sop to the UN Commies).

The interesting thing, given Moslems hating ANYTHING Western, is that it’s Islam that has started using this atrocity of technology in such a VILE way – I had expected it to start under Communism (e.g., with Obama). [Mind you, I don’t know anybody who could potentially be really charming by your measures, Mrs. Wilkins, in the House of Al-Saud, the ruling family of Saudi Arabia…]

      • The issue of ‘Charming’ and ‘Saudi’…
Well, kind of an oxymoron, right? :-) I’ve seen pics of them, and I’m amazed that bloated colostomy bag of a king can actually get up out of chair under hos own power.
Gonna need drano to unclog that obese cretin’s arteries…

Given muslim psychology, and speaking with Husband, the more ‘well-to-do’ muzzies will happily load their women with all manner of tracking and/or control implants but will keep their own bodies free of such.
Don’t forget, in islam whatever a male wants to do to a female is halal, and implants into the body unless for vital medical necessity (or if you’re rich enough to get whatever you want and escape the law) are haram.
Husband had a convo with some muzzies years ago about pacemakers, hip implants, vs. cosmetic and elective modifications.

muzzies, as Husband describe them, are Opportunistic and Obligatory cultural parasites. They hate us–but they have NO problems using our technology, and feel that they have more right to it than we do.
islam is built on duality, including many core aspects being double-standards, right?
