Des Dômes Et Des Minarets  Another tagged mosque (42 since the beginning of the year) shows that Islamophobia is not idle. After Besançon and Le Barp , a Turkish mosque in the city of Vendôme (Loir-et-Cher) had Swastikas (drawn upside down) and inscriptions as “F …” and “I Love White” were daubed on the front of the Shrine located rue de la Brickworks (district Rottes). Besides the mosque, shops belonging to the Turkish community were targeted (grocery stores, cafes, restaurants). In total, ten  were buildings were hit, all in the same paint and handwriting.

This isn’t the first time that the Turkish community in Ven has been targeted by racists (What ‘race’ is Islam?).  ”The last time was in 2012, just before the presidential elections”, Adil Dunadar, president of the Association Sportive et Culturelle Turque, is quoted as saying. “The front of our place of worship was graffitied with ‘I love pork’.”
