It was News Corp that bought 18% stake in Saudi media company Rotana.
January 5, 2014 @ 7:16 pm
Then it was en even exchange because the Saudis have 18% of Fox now.
January 5, 2014 @ 1:58 am
PBS is OK for documentaries and shows, etc., otherwise FOX is the only American channel I watch. CNN, ABC, NBC etc.—forget it.
January 5, 2014 @ 1:54 am
This Fox video on “wussification” came up after the above. Have we become a weenie nation of wussies?

Malta cannot afford to continue supporting migrants from war-torn countries in its over-crowded detention camps, the country’s foreign minister has told CNN.
Speaking with CNN’s Isa Soares, George Vella said that while he didn’t want to blame the migrants, they “do not help themselves” in the immigration enclosures as they “break toilets” and “smear the place.”
When asked what the government can do to improve living conditions in the detention camp, Vela responded: “They don’t care for the facilities they have… we cannot afford to carry on looking after all these numbers, and utilizing our resources.”
Islamist terrorists are blending in with migrants in order to gain entrance into the EU, Italian Foreign Minister Emma Bonino said Monday, lamenting that Italy’s EU partners were not paying enough attention.
“A lot of evidence suggests that by now, other less friendly migrants or people on the move are mixing in with women and children or using them as human shields. They may be former jihadists, members of al-Qaeda or of other groups,” Bonino said at the foreign press club in Rome.

No surprise that George Soros lied about calling off attacking Fox News.
This Media Matters YT video was published on Dec 28, 2013. Yet on December 16, 2013 George Soros Washington Times reported victory against Fox News, that they are “calling off the dogs”, because the network is no longer a threat.
January 5, 2014 @ 1:48 am
They still kill all the networks in ratings so what did they win?
January 5, 2014 @ 3:09 am
Declaring victory was more Soros-propaganda. Maybe Soros was trying to make adult living in their parent’s basement bloggers at Huffpo have a feel good moment.

Here are a whole lot of people agreeing to ‘appeal the first amendment so rightwingers can’t say racist things about Obama and disagree with him and say what they want to say in these tough times so we can come together…the first amendement is not needed…free speech has its limits…criticism of the President is not acceptable”.
January 4, 2014 @ 9:36 pm
Thank God for the First Amendment. OBAMA HATES THE FIRST AMENDMENT.
President Barack Obama endorsed a constitutional amendment that would restrict the free-speech rights of political activist groups by overturning the Supreme Court decision in the landmark Citizens United v FEC case that granted First Amendment rights to corporations. “Over the longer term, I think we need to seriously consider mobilizing a constitutional amendment process to overturn Citizens United,” Obama wrote during a question and answer session on the website Reddit on Wednesday. “Even if the amendment process falls short, it can shine a spotlight of the super-PAC phenomenon and help apply pressure for change.”
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote that the government was arguing for direct censorship of political speech, asking the court to allow the banning of books, pamphlets, and any other type of speech the government deemed necessary. “The Government urges us in this case to uphold a direct prohibition on political speech,” Roberts wrote. “It asks us to embrace a theory of the First Amendment that would allow censorship not only of television and radio broadcasts, but of pamphlets, posters, the Internet, and virtually any other medium that corporations and unions might find useful in expressing their views on matters of public concern. “Its theory, if accepted, would empower the Government to prohibit newspapers from running editorials or opinion pieces supporting or opposing candidates for office, so long as the newspapers were owned by corporations—as the major ones are.” Roberts said that the First Amendment did not simply protect “the individual on a soapbox” but the rights of everyone to engage in political speech.

Thank you FOX news. Latest poll gave them 1.7 million viewers a day, by far surpassing all other networks.
January 4, 2014 @ 8:39 pm
I wonder who made this bullshit? Was it an inbreed Muslim or was it some Pro-Regressive on crack?

January 4, 2014 @ 10:44 pm
Media Matters is the left-wing equivalent of Incogman.
January 5, 2014 @ 1:50 am
SK, what is Incogman?
January 5, 2014 @ 7:13 am
It’s another hateful JOOOOOOOoooooo’s did it site.
January 5, 2014 @ 7:58 am
Incogman is a disgusting Neo-Nazi website that blames the Jews for everything. The site also promotes Holocaust denial, the Jewish Banker Conspiracy, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and practically every anti-semetic Muslim. These guys are so desperate they need to run to the Muslims for safety. No wonder David Fluke went to the Iranian Holocaust Denial Meeting-no sane person would take him. Media matters is also anti-semetic and pro-Muslim. I think they a couple of closet Neo-Nazis in there to.
January 5, 2014 @ 11:16 am
KS, I just looked at it. As bad as Media Matters is, it’s not fair to compare it to that kind of garbage.
January 4, 2014 @ 7:54 pm
Reading through the comments under that video. It’s really easy to see how much the Progressives (Pronounced Marxists) truly Hate Christians, hate Jews, hate America. Even the occasional Liberal trying to point out the Islamists vile behavior is immediately set upon.
Progressive ≠ Liberal
January 5, 2014 @ 4:33 am
BNI……you won’t like Incogman. Trust me on this.
January 5, 2014 @ 11:10 am
I just checked it. No way is Media Matters anywhere near that bad.
January 4, 2014 @ 7:40 pm
surprising since Fox is owned by a muslim
January 4, 2014 @ 10:04 pm
Well, that Muslim guy owns only a small percentage of Fox’s parent company. Those who really hold the power in Fox – Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch – appear to be quite critical of Islam and Muslims.
January 5, 2014 @ 1:49 am
The Saudis own 18%.
January 5, 2014 @ 5:32 am
Holy fuck!! how could the major shareholders allow muzzies to buy company shares in the only media outlet that is not insanely PC and is helping to expose the true nature of Islam-a fascist totalitarian militant supremacist ideology hell bent on world domination disguised as a religion 🙁
January 5, 2014 @ 2:20 pm
Actually Saudi stake in News Corp. is about 7%.
Rupert Murdoch, who owns majority of Fox’s shares, has criticized multiculturalism and inability of Muslim migrants to integrate: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/rupert-murdoch-causes-firestorm-tweet-609572
January 5, 2014 @ 2:22 pm
They upped it to 18% a year or two ago.
