But, of course, they’re the same sort of chickensh*t corporation that would expect/demand that American military men and women spill their blood for Google’s interests around the world.
May 27, 2014 @ 4:57 pm
I’ve heard that Google is a big Islamopandering organization. Did ya’ll notice the news today about how Zukerberg’s Islamopandering really helped him? Google will probably get the same treatment from Mausoleums.

Google, you are vile bastards!
Happy Memorial Day, America. God bless you always
May 27, 2014 @ 12:36 am
I earlier, after noticing this story, (yesterday, May 26) took a visit of major search engines to see if any had any commemorations of Memorial Day. Google did have a little US flag with a ribbon beneath its logo. But I did not notice any special images or commemorations on AOL, MSN/Bing, or Yahoo. But Memorial Day was covered in the stories on Bing and AOL and around the Web.
Maybe large international search providers have certain restrictions on commemorations of certain political or public holidays? Because I seem to remember seeing logo decorations for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and New Year’s on MSN, Google, and AOL. I think net neutrality may be the reason they don’t go too out of the way for political holidays. I just hope no internet search provider has a world wide celebration of Iran’s day of the Martyrs, which remembers all the Iranians killed during the Iran and Iraq War, or Ashura, which commemorates the violent death of Hussein on the plains of Karbala, during one of Islam’s internal spats! Hussein, grandson of Muhammad, by the way, is regarded as the founder of Shia Islam. I wouldn’t be surprised if Google, Bing and Yahoo post that on local Iranian servers, but I do hope they don’t start posting that in its international sites as a major holiday.
Keep in mind that the world wide web is international and also search engines will locally display logos for certain national holidays in countries which they serve.
But I do wonder what internet search engine policies on holiday celebrations are. Because I just now went to Google (12:22 AM local time, May 27) and they had a commemoration of Rachel Louise Carson’s 107th birthday (I never heard of her and had to look her up, to see who she was). She was a Marine biologist, and apparently because she was a woman, in a field dominated by men, she was and is regarded as important. She died in 1964. You learn something new every day.
May 27, 2014 @ 1:41 am
Google is an American company who is able to make the $$billions they do because of the people who died for them. I doubt that any of these Google leftist scumbags ever served in the military. You should know better than to post that crap here.
May 27, 2014 @ 5:05 pm
Do you think that they would restrict themselves from demanding that American blood be spilt in some Islamic hell hole to defend Google interests? I don’t give a sh*t what their “restrictions” are.

Thanks for posting the links regarding the email service and proxy searchers.
As for Google, well my friends we know where Google’s politics lay.
We were warned and we did not listen.
Here is a short encounter with Ray Kurzweil, an inventor and very senior within the Google corporation.
My comment about Mr. Kurzweil and the threat of Google follows.
We have only, largely through the search engines, only the information that those search engines want us to have. This control, or this filtering, will continue on well into the singularity and will be used to control the entirety of the world’s population it will be used to control, to a single human; Humanity.
Ray Kurzweil lies through his teeth when he waxes the poetic and the philosophical and speaks about our “self determination”.
We are only as self determining as corporations like Google and Microsoft all allow us to be. One only has to look at their politics that become manifest through their sanitizing of the internet and informational data bases in order to make obscure and obliterated that information or political will which runs opposite to their desires or endgame. we see the tip of that iceberg now in the deletion of political statement videos from YouTube and Google. We see that now in the marking and removal of certain websites that run contrary to the narrative of the Liberal/Left. We can further see that through the revision of history and our future will be a reflection of oft repeated lies becoming our new “truth”.
We now are in real trouble and our new masters are just now in the fashion of the “boiling frog” beginning to close their fingers around our throats. There will come a day soon when the power of original thought and self determination are a thing of the past.
The Tyrell and Skynet corporations are now, but by bit, starting to drop the veil. In 50 years our lives will be profoundly different, and it will be a difference that will speak of the blackest misery and the most complete of totalitarian enslavement.
Oh yes it will.
Regards, Don Laird
PS: a bit of advice, the good thing about advice is you can either apply it to your life or ignore it, the advice below I suggest falls into the former. Oh yes it does.
Stop using social media like FaceBook and the others, stop it now.
Stop using any email associated with Google or Microsoft or any of the others that are associated or friendly to the slightest degree with either government of any form of NGO seeking internet control.
Stop using your credit cards.
Stop using debit cards.
Stop using Customer Loyalty cards
Stop using Points Cards (Airmiles etc)
Stop sending emails unless they are both encrypted and sent through a proxy service.
Stop using any personal information on any government form or database that directly connects them to your physical whereabouts.
Stop registering with any government mandatory registration program for any items the government at any level, has deemed “regulated” or “controlled”
Stop using a cellphone that can not be completely powered down and rendered absolutely incapable of using data storage or burst transmission.
Stop allowing all those corporations who have access to your personal information to distribute it to either government, law enforcement, intelligence agencies and or other corporations they do business with.
Start teaching yourselves, your children, your friends and neighbors how incredibly dangerous the aforementioned companies truly are. These companies are not your friends, they are your most dangerous enemies and will dress their attempts to control you and the rest of the population in robes of fashion, fun and acceptability. The fact is that were persons 50 years ago were to be told the extent of what we have given up and what we have allowed governments and corporations to do to us and with us they would be utterly speechless and horrified.
Start learning to use encryption.
Lastly, start working on several alternate identities, complete with identification. Believe me, you are going to need it sooner than later.
Mark my words…….
May 27, 2014 @ 3:19 am
Very good advice, Don. All very frighteningly TRUE. I learned this from a securities analyst, several years ago, and it’s being confirmed as we breathe.
May 27, 2014 @ 9:48 pm
What some people may dismiss as paranoia, becomes rather disturbing when you begin to connect the dots on the individuals personal information that is out there and is being shared by a multiplicity of corporations, none of these corporations being friendly to the conservative.
This doesn’t even begin to include the various government and intelligence agencies.
The time has come for many of us to start being a little less “trackable”.
May 28, 2014 @ 3:15 am
All good advice, Don. Common sense has to apply here, also.
May 26, 2014 @ 11:21 pm
620,219 Americans died in combat fighting for rights and freedoms!
You would think that would merit APPRECIATION from google rather than heartless INDIFFERENCE!
Google benefits from the rights and freedoms those brave men and women DEFENDED!
Google…YOU ARE INGRATES!

Taha Hussein and Ahmad Shawqi are . . . WHO?
May 26, 2014 @ 9:18 pm
I’m surprised they had a doodle of Taha Hussein, who was tried for apostasy but not convicted.
“Ṭāhā Ḥusayn returned to Egypt from France to become a professor of Arabic literature at the University of Cairo; his career there was frequently stormy, for his bold views enraged religious conservatives. His application of modern critical methods in Fi al-shiʾr al-jāhilī (1926; “On Pre-Islamic Poetry”) embroiled him in fierce polemics. In this book he contended that a great deal of the poetry reputed to be pre-Islamic had been forged by Muslims of a later date for various reasons, one being to give credence to Qurʾānic myths. For this he was tried for apostasy, but he was not convicted. In another book, Mustaqbal al-thaqāfah fī Miṣr (1938; The Future of Culture in Egypt), he expounds his belief that Egypt belongs by heritage to the same wider Mediterranean civilization that embraces Greece, Italy, and France; it advocates the assimilation of modern European culture.”
May 26, 2014 @ 9:12 pm
There’s no doodle but there is a US flag and memorial day ribbon there now (this is the same design as 2013).
May 26, 2014 @ 9:00 pm
Saw a similar post elsewhere. Changed my default search and news to Bing. Won’t be using Google maps anytime soon. If Google thinks the U.S. military and U.S. holidays are too unimportant to be acknowledged, I think Google is too unimportant as well.
May 26, 2014 @ 8:11 pm
Thank you. I have added them to my favourit places x.
May 27, 2014 @ 12:13 am
I see you are in the UK. You must be a baghead.
May 26, 2014 @ 8:07 pm
Time to boycott google. Outrageous pandering to muslums of islum’s cult.
May 26, 2014 @ 7:15 pm
Outrageous. I hope they quickly understand what it means to have had people in the country give up their lives for their progenies’ freedom, and how Islam is dying to take it away. If not, I hope they spend the rest of their lives in Islamic hell holes and see what not having freedom is really like.
May 26, 2014 @ 8:55 pm
Likely if Mr. Obama has his way and the Internet is given away Google will find out quickly how much the socialist and Muslim worlds hate freedom of information, communication, and thought.
May 26, 2014 @ 6:16 pm
Is it my imagination or are the vast majority of these “doodles” for Muslim countries/causes?

Funny I see no cartoons on Allah the gay one
May 27, 2014 @ 8:23 am
Peter: The correct word to use is “FEY” ! That means different. It does call to mind images of little children at a birthday, or laughing as they run through a field full of wild flowers and butterflies.
“Gay” is an appropriated word stolen from our language that needs to be returned.
May 26, 2014 @ 6:01 pm
Disgusting reprobates gives new meaning on how low is low enough ! ask google
May 26, 2014 @ 6:01 pm
That’s why I’m switching browsers. These assholes just suck~!
Search engines that don’t track you:

Agreed … Being a retired (gay) US veteran myself US Navy (1977-1985) who provided support for the mission to attempt to free our US Embassy personnel during the Iran Hostage Crisis and losing my first soul mate (a young marine who lost his life horrifically being burned alive in the Salt Desert of Iran that day). you’d think with all the doodles they give to raghead countries, that on today of all days, they might consider honoring our own country’s brave fighting men and women.
May 26, 2014 @ 6:49 pm
Thank you for your service, Sailor! Very sorry for your loss.
And you are right, google is “honoring” the muslims! It just frosts me that all the Western societies are catering, bowing and scraping to the muzzies.
I wonder if our so-called representatives are setting us up for a muslim coup? I worry about us in the USA!
May 27, 2014 @ 3:03 am
There’s nothing to “wonder” about. Your suspicions are warranted.
May 26, 2014 @ 5:35 pm
Looks like it’s time for googles phase out to begin, then. After all, they surely didn’t expect to last forever, did they? I’m sure myspace thought they’d be at the top of the heap forever too. What’s a good alternative to google? (Please not bing! LoL)
