ANOTHER North Carolina convert to Islam turned jihadi arrested for supporting Islamic State (ISIS) and posing a threat to the United States
Donald Ray Morgan, 44, was arrested by the FBI as he arrived at John F. Kennedy International airport from Germany on Aug. 2. Morgan is a convicted felon who is wanted in Rowan County on federal weapon charges.
Prosecutors in New York argued Morgan should remain in custody because he had been posting questionable messages on social media in support of the terrorist group ISIS. The messages led counter-terrorism agents to believe that Morgan may be a threat, and that he may be joining ISIS.
