A bible college in Nigeria and other churches have temporarily closed after Boko Haram attacks in the area have killed more than 350 Christians in one week. (Hey Moochelle, how about another hashtag?)
Christian Headlines Nigeria’s Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN) President Samuel Dali sent an emergency prayer message out to supporters, saying that the church is threatened. Islamic extremists insurgents are trying to impose Islamic law throughout Nigeria.
“Boko Haram violence has been getting worse every day, and our members are fleeing the area by the thousands,” Dali said. “Recent attacks in Borno and Adamawa states where are our churches are located have seen Boko Haram take over the Army base. As a result, about 350 Christians have been killed.”
