NORTH CAROLINA: Multiple gun shots fired at a Muslim home in Charlotte

HATE CRIME? Even if it wasn’t, Muslims will insist it is. Probably a good time for Muslims to think about leaving America. After all, there are 56 Islamic countries where they would feel much more welcome.

WBTV  Multiple gun shots were fired at a home in east Mecklenburg County early Tuesday morning, officials say. “I don’t know why,” Abdul said. “If somebody would target our house. I don’t know why they are doing this.” Police say just after 1 a.m., gunmen fired multiple shots through a backyard privacy fence that entered a home in the 7800 block of Shiny Meadow Lane.

Police say five people were inside the home at the time of the shooting and one woman was shot in the leg while sleeping in an upstairs bedroom. According to police, the shooting was random. The homeowner says he and his family are of the Islamic faith and he doesn’t believe the shooting was a random incident.

“Why our house in particular?” Abdul said. “Why aren’t the other houses shot at? Looks like we were targeted for one purpose or another and it doesn’t sound like a random shooting. We are traumatized, all of us, and we are thinking who can be shooting at us? Is it for motive?”
