Muslims feel that banning the blasting of the Muslim Call to Prayer on the Duke University campus signals a new upsurge in ‘Islamophobia’

One can only hope. Three North Carolina universities—Duke, Wake Forest, and UNC-Chapel Hill—have experienced sharp divisions and increased tensions over Islamic teachings and the role of Islam in the US.

PBS  For Muslims in those communities, there are signs of growing anti-Muslim hostility, related to the rapid rise of Islamic jihad terrorism around the world, not to mention the pushback against Muslims advocating adoption of sharia law in several states. Of course, Muslims deny that jihad means holy war, but we, at BNI, know better.
