Robin, no it isn’t. But it reminds me of my husband’s now deceased horse. He used to take his neck and wrap it around me so he could pin me to the door until I came up with a treat or a carrot. Sometimes he just wanted me to hang around.

Awww, sorry about his horse! They are just such special animals. I love the way he/she tips his/her head after pulling the man back. So sweet.
April 23, 2016 @ 12:16 am
I bring carrots for the entire barn when I go there 3 times a week. They love me!

Come to think of it, I haven’t ever heard anyone say “I went to this fabulous Jewish restaurant last night!” (Though I’m sure there ARE good ones out there, right?!) Happy and safe Passover to Israelis and Jews all over the world.
April 22, 2016 @ 10:38 pm
Not really. Jews are known for great delis, but can’t say I’ve ever been to a Jewish restaurant.
April 23, 2016 @ 5:07 am
Ehhhhhh. I think you’re right. But then I KNOW I never heard anyone say ” I went to an Irish Restaurant ” either.
Pass the breadsticks and the olive oil, eh ?

HAPPY PASSOVER Bonnie and every one.
Our Easter , the Christian Orthodox, is bound by the Jewish Pass Over, which comes one week after.
The head of the Christian churches are trying for years to coincide the dates of Christmas (ours is on January 7) with the Western. The Coptic church does not mind to change ours to December 25, but not Easter.
The Coptic follows The Bible. Jesus ate the Pass Over with his disciples a week before His Crucifixion.

I have in my hand a baloney sandwich with a juicy” Kosher” dill pickle to celebrate Pass Over with my Jewish friends I found it is just a shade more tasty than unleavened bread Moses cook put out for him on the trail … I think

I hate Matzoh.

However, I love Matzoh Brei, at least the way my mother used to make it.
April 22, 2016 @ 6:07 pm
Me too, try having your birthday on Passover when you get a matzameal cake!
April 22, 2016 @ 6:51 pm
Marcia, I had that problem all the time – April 20th often came during Passover and I got stuck with a sponge cake. YECH!

The Jews have a great sense of humor. He can’t do that with Muslims, they’ll scream Islamophobia.
April 22, 2016 @ 4:14 pm
They will scream islamophobia even if we ‘the infidel’ breath. Do not let them dictate their filthy way of life (death) on us.
