Say WHAT? •

Personally, I have not joined the army, but I have great admiration, love, respect and appreciation for those who sacrifice their precious lives for me. Most of the time, when situation allows, and I see soldiers I stop and say thank you and God bless you.
May 30, 2016 @ 6:25 pm
That last photo of the mother with the very young baby touched me deeply! I feel so bad for her and her child. These soldiers are heroes, but I cannot help but feel that they all died in vain; they should never have wasted American or European lives on a hopeless ‘war’ against moslem Filth!!! It is endless. Instead, they should have bombed from the air – as they should only do now in Syria – and never ever again place ground troops on moslem ground. It was simply useless, that war, and it all got a whole lot worse down there, because they didn’t clean up in the first place.

I know, those photos (and there a a lot of them) always bring me to tears.

Never in vain. Always with Honor.

Very sad state of affairs. I agree with bringing back the draft (transforms superficial young adults into more responsible adults).
May 30, 2016 @ 3:06 pm
I’ll do you one better. Bring back the ability to vote in any federal election contingent on being eligible for the draft. A draft where there are no deferments.
A free republic is too precious to allow those without “skin in the game” to screw it up.
Also I’ve long advocated that any politico that votes to go to war MUST designate the nearest younger male/female blood relative of theirs that will serve in a front line ground pounder platoon. It’s far too easy to send Other peoples children to go off to die in French farm fields or Afghan poppy fields.

Talk about American STUPID. Of course it is morally superior to teach the five pillars of ISlam and how to recite the shada than to teach Americans what memorial day is about. America has been dumbed down, no one cares and they dont want to know. Blissful in their ignorance. sacrifice by men and women who gace all for this once great country has been for naught. It is lost on the citizens. Time to re educate the public. Public service announcements telling folks remembrance day that time when we thank those who have gone before.
May 30, 2016 @ 7:56 am
So love the picture of the young mother with her baby spending the day with her heroic deceased husband.
A very beautiful tribute and a push back to all those who would defile a soldier’s memory.

Ahhhh the joys of diversity and multi-culturalism. Reducing intellect to the lowest common denominator !! Remember that song “…..what we need is a great big melting pot”. Seems to me the melting ‘pot’ melts people brains and they forget the people who gave their lives …so that they could go’to the Sting concert’. Trump, you have some work to do my friend .

For years as a nurse at a Vet retirement home I cared for Vet who fought in wars (even a woman) who fought in the civil war (as a Nurse). I sat and listened to their stories. One tat always stuck with me a gentelman who was on the SSARIZONIA at Pearl Harbor. It has been years but, I still remember his name, Mr. Shoemaker. GOD BLESS OUR VETS, EVERY ONE OF THEM !!!! IF you ever talk to a Vet the best thing you can do for them is listen to what they want to say. My husband was a vet from Vietnam, who passed away 3 years ago, had PSD, I listened to him a lot of his stories of Vietnam.
May 29, 2016 @ 6:42 pm
These people make me ashamed of the education that they are receiving, this country has no honor left in it. Vote Trump.
May 29, 2016 @ 5:17 pm
Memorial Day? Yeah I am going to be honoring those fallen Founding Fathers of this country such as John Wilkes Boothe, Jack Lemon, Walter Matheau, Johnny Carson and especially, Ed McMahon! And oh, I almost forgot, Andy Warhol!
Far Out Man!
Memorial Day is my favorite Holiday because I get a 3 day weekend.

Trump is the only hope for USA and Europé against these NWO traitors running the scene at this moment. There will be a lot of thugs during the election so we hope that the US Police has FEMA camps ready for these aggressive left wingers and communists.
Europe is under invasion, every month over 60.000 muslim refugees were most of them are “children with beard” as the media reports is invading our contries. BIG lies are controlling the people here in Europe and therefore also Europe needs Trump as the next president of the United States.
This upcoming election is the most important election ever!
May 29, 2016 @ 3:14 pm
That final picture is heartwrenching.
May 29, 2016 @ 2:54 pm
I’m a vet, and I spend Memorial day studying the history of American wars. I try to answer questions such as, Why did Woodrow Wilson(D) involve the US in a European war when the founders warned not to get involved. Or why did FRD(D) get us in another European war when it was know the Germans were running out of oil in early 1941.
Our best honor to the dead is to ensure the living only go to war when it’s in American vital interest.
May 29, 2016 @ 3:05 pm
Thank you Jon, we pay tribute here to all our vets.
May 29, 2016 @ 6:57 pm
sailorjon, I’d like to offer you some resources that will answer your questions and I think you will find interesting reading.
I was asked not to post Conspiracy Theories here. I do not consider this info a Conspiracy Theory so we’ll have to see if this info gets posted for you.
Albert Pike’s ThreeWorldWars:
World War 1http://www.threeworldwars.com/world-war-1/ww1.htm
These 2 are dead links, move the .htm to the left to activate the link.
World War 2
World War 3
If you study the New World Order and the Global Banking system that’s controlled much of what’s happened on this Planet, you will learn all wars and military interventions were pre-planned including World War 3. Do the research before dismissing this claim.
Both sides of every war were financed by the same Global Banking entity.
May 30, 2016 @ 7:08 am
trico, Thank you for the suggestions. There is a blurry line between real conspiracy and theory. Some conspiracies are open about it, e.g. the Fabian Socialists and Communists.
I feel that when the “that’s just a Conspiracy Theory”, “that’s racist” or “isolationist” flags are thrown it’s just code for “shut up I don’t what you to speak”.
May 29, 2016 @ 10:37 pm
Perhaps you need to read the peom about…. First they came for the….., then the….., then…. and I did nothing. Then they came for me! Sailorjon, please don’t let your ‘patriotism’ blind you.
May 30, 2016 @ 6:51 am
tony… I have and I’ve read much more persuasive arguments for involvement and non-involvement in foreign wars. The tripe of what we call today ‘memes’ is for low information people.
The reasons behind Wilson and FDR committing young boys from Iowa farms to die in the fields of France are far to complicated to sum up in a few sentences. But a deep skepticism of politicians when they beat the war drum is warranted.
May 29, 2016 @ 2:39 pm
Now this makes me want to cry. I distibute poppies go commemorate our fallen military who gave all for our freedom. Our American legion post spend the morning at local cemeteries gathering to read peoems like “In Fladers Fields”, which describes why we wear poppies on our lapels and the peom “Forget Me Not”. We have choirs and 21 gun salutes and float a wreath upon a local river. I have taught my children and grandchildren what Memorial day is really about. It is shameful that so many people have not taught their younger generations. We cannot keep our country safe if we don’t teach them. Our schools don’t teach much about Memorial Day. For so many it is just a symbol of the end of the school year and beginning of BBQ season.
May 29, 2016 @ 2:28 pm
I lived in L.A..Close to the “ocean” coulture..So this does not surprise me. Even universities in southern Calif… upsetting..visit a military cemetery say thanks for the lost hero’s..
May 29, 2016 @ 2:09 pm
I didn’t expect these brainless nothings to know the meaning of “Memorial”. Other words, these Brainless Nothings have probably never heard of or do not know the meanings to: Honor, Truth, Dictionary( a word that is probably never taught in any schools or colleges nowadays), Illegal( another word that is alien to Brainless Nothings ), Justice, Criminal(such as Hillary and Odummer), Respect, Research (Such as reading the real Quran), and Responsibility.
May 29, 2016 @ 3:34 pm
Another word these Brainless losers do not know the meaning of: Sacrifice!
May 29, 2016 @ 2:03 pm
That was so beautiful, usar. I will thank you, too, for keeping us safe. God bless you…and God bless America!
May 29, 2016 @ 1:40 pm
How can People be so Stupid.. Where have they been spending their time ? I personally do not party on this Holiday, l visit the graves of fallen love ones and help with making Vets happy remembering their friends We all know at least one that gave their life for our freedom,, or know others who had lost their love ones.. At least l would think , you know at least one..
May 29, 2016 @ 1:38 pm
Trump WILL restore America to how we used to be. Remembering our war dead, no men in bathrooms, tightening up our borders, restore our economy, getting rid of Obamacare and deporting the Muslims.
That’s why the Muslimes cannot stand Trump!
May 29, 2016 @ 1:35 pm
No moorings, no foundation, no concept, no real purpose, no reason, no comprehension, no roots, no faith , no truth, no interest, no brains. Come on back LORD were done here!!!
May 29, 2016 @ 1:18 pm
Ye band of brothers few, whose courage ran red; whose, blood did paint the fields of valor anew… Whose, dead now speak to us… arise take our standard and stand too. For your nation needs you to be true.
Raise high the banners of our cause, once more to hear the call, of the trumpet loud, and the sound of the drummer’s beat, too the cadence of war… they call. For we few, we patriots true, shall not faint so easily, nor turn from our due… ‘Tis but our call, too stay the course. Rally now the war horse… Charge the cannon true. Let bark, liberties sound, that all may know… We are Americans thru and true.
For sooner the cowards brace, their lesser course… too give way before the tide of men, these few brothers, this band of Patriots, true; shall once more charge with steel, their homeward course, and give no breath to lesser men. Stand now ye men of valor true, lift up thine eyes… and with no more ado, take hold of your heritage and the sword of truth. That our Nation may no longer suffer, the cowards brace.
Ronald A Nelson
Col. US Army (ret.)
Let us all remember our brothers call… on this day of honor for those few who gave all. I often, muse at the past too find my eyes grow dim with tears of sorrow for the many who died… those brave few whose lives so righteously speak of the promise of liberty too us all. It is but a fleeting memory that catches the wind… a breath of the past, now needed so desperately by we few, we veterans of sorrows long past.
May 29, 2016 @ 1:42 pm
Usar, thank you and all our vets for keeping us safe.
May 29, 2016 @ 2:27 pm
