ITALIAN POLICE arrest 8 Muslim jihadists on suspicion of smuggling and falsifying documents to bring in Islamic State operatives and freeloaders to Europe
The leader is purported to be a Tunisian Muslim named Kamel Khemiri, who through phone tapping, the police found had pledged allegiance to Islamic militant group ISIS. Khemiri is said to have self-radicalized through social media and the internet, and reportedly celebrated the Paris terror attacks last year.
His Facebook page is littered with Islamic militant posts including one that reads: “As long as I live and after I die I will be an Islamic State man. The group of eight, made up entirely of non-italians, made fake contracts and payslips to secure work visas for illegal migrants.
