Called a “beacon of a moderate Muslim nation” by Hillary Clinton, Indonesia now has begun imposing harsh sharia law punishments on Muslims and Christians alike
In the province of Banda Ache, the first region allowed to impose sharia law, young girls are eligible for the harshest sharia punishments, including public caning and whippings for alleged immorality, thieves can have their hands amputated and blasphemy and homosexuality can result in execution.
You know that once sharia is allowed in one part of the country, it’s only a matter of time before it spreads all over the country. Banda Aceh is home to 5 million Indonesians.
