PLEASE HELP! Courageous Catholic School teacher who tried to teach students the truth about Islam is facing dismissal

Urge Blessed Trinity Catholic School NOT to fire a Mark Smythe for quoting Saint John Bosco when teaching his 6th grade class about Islam. Supporters of this teacher who saw the article about him on BNI are asking us to sign a petition and email the school to urge them not to fire this very popular teacher for giving an accurate, if not pretty, portrayal of Islam.

ORIGINAL BNI ARTICLE: COURAGEOUS Catholic School teacher under fire for trying to teach students the truth about Islam

Mark Smythe, who is facing reprimand, and/or possible termination, as penalty for sharing a paper written by Saint John Bosco in 1853 regarding Islam and Mohammad with his 6th grade class.

Please find attached a link from Mr. Smythe who is asking for signatures on a petition which will be sent to the Diocese of Orlando and the Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese, Henry Fortier. It seems the Diocese and Mr. Fortier, the Diocesan Superintendent of Schools, are sticking to their guns and demanding Mr. Smythe sign the reprimand or face further sanctions. We cannot allow this to happen!

Support Mark by signing this petition at link below:

Please politely urge the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Orlando to keep Mr. Smythe as a teacher.

Can political correctness get any worse than this?

Fact #1:  Mark Smythe is a well-liked Catholic teacher at Blessed Trinity Catholic School in Ocala, Florida.  He recently used Saint John Bosco’s writing on Islam in his 6th grade social studies class.

Fact #2:  The leftist Huffington Post found out that Saint John Bosco’s writings were critical of Islam and immediately went public, attacking the teacher for sharing them.

Fact #3:  The Office of the Superintendent of Catholic Schools — with the support of the Human Resources Department of the Diocese of Orlando — has reportedly not only reprimanded Mr. Smythe for using Saint John Bosco in class, but also threatened to dismiss him from his job. (The Catholic World Report)

The Diocese was quick to Kangaroo Court Mr. Smythe and prepare a lynch mob for his execution. Your help in spreading the word is sorely needed at this time.
