The threat posed by al Qaeda terrorism around the world continues to increase despite President Barack Obama’s recent claim that the central group behind the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks is on the path to defeat, according to U.S. and foreign counterterrorism officials and private experts. The U.S. government’s counterterrorism paradigm is misguided because the forefront of global Islamic jihad is not al Qaeda, but the Muslim Brotherhood “we are now partnering with as a matter of policy.”
Free Beacon While terrorist threats still exist, “the core of al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan is on the path to defeat,” the president said.
However, a U.S. counterterrorism official said the threat posed by al Qaeda is growing. “From Africa to Pakistan, it is spreading systematically,” the official said. The official blamed the Obama administration policy of focusing its counterterrorism efforts almost exclusively on central al Qaeda.
The focus on Pakistan and Afghanistan resulted in a lack of targeted counterterrorism efforts in other locations, the official said. The official added that counterterrorism efforts have been weakened by the administration’s policy of dissociating Islam from al Qaeda and other Islamist terrorism. The policy was a key effort of John Brennan, White House counterterrorism chief during the first Obama administration. As CIA director, Brennan has expanded the policy of limiting links between Islam and terrorism at the agency.
The result is that Islamist terror groups are flourishing, posing direct threats to the United States and to U.S. interests outside the country, the official said.
That assessment is bolstered by a new report by the private Lignet intelligence group. The report made public Tuesday says the U.S. government’s overreliance on sanctions and surveillance has limited the war on terror. The result is “a decentralized al Qaeda structure—and a much greater threat,” the report said.
“Al Qaeda has transitioned from a hierarchical cell structure to a franchise organization that is now responsible for four times as many terrorist attacks a year as it was before 9/11,” the report said. “Al Qaeda training camps are now being established on the Arabian Peninsula, in Africa, countries of the former Soviet Union, and Southeast Asia.”
U.S. counterterrorism efforts in Southwest Asia, including a steady series of armed drone attacks against al Qaeda leaders, have resulted in central al Qaeda moving out of the region. York Zirke, head of Germany’s federal criminal police agency, told a conference in Russia recently that al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are shifting operations from Pakistan and Afghanistan to Syria, northern Africa, Yemen, and other countries.
“Speaking about the situation in the world, it has to be reiterated that al Qaeda and organizations associated with it are not halting their activities, but the centers of its activities have moved from the area close to the Pakistani and Afghani borders to other regions such as Syria, Northern Africa, Mali, and Yemen,” Zirke said during a conference in Kazan, Russia, on June 6, according to Interfax.
The U.S. official outlined gains by al Qaeda both ideologically and operationally in expanding its reach as well as developing affiliates in key regions targeted by Islamists over the past several months. Al Qaeda has moved rapidly to expand in parts of east, west, and north Africa, helped by the so-called Arab Spring.
A key affiliate, al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, known as AQIM, and the Somalia-based al Shabaab group are the two main groups operating and expanding in Africa. The Nigerian al Qaeda group Boko Haram also emerged as a new affiliate and is posing a significant threat to the region.
About 4,000 French troops were dispatched to Mali in January to battle al Qaeda terrorists.AQIM is expanding despite the French military intervention. A BBC report from May 29 stated that the expansion is not new. “Militants and armed radical groups have expanded and entrenched their positions throughout the Sahel and Sahara over the last decade under the umbrella of [AQIM].” French troops announced a day later they had uncovered an AQIM bomb factory engaged in making suicide bomber vests in northern Mali.
U.S. intelligence agencies recently identified a new AQIM training base near Timbuktu in Mali. An al Qaeda training manual discovered in Mali revealed that terrorists are training with SA-7 surface-to-air missiles, the Associated Press reported.
Al Qaeda affiliates in Libya are moving into the power vacuum left by the ouster of the regime of Muammar Gadhafi.The main al Qaeda affiliate there is Ansar al Sharia, blamed for the Sept. 11, 2012, attack against the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi that killed four Americans, including Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
France’s government recently said Paris has become increasingly alarmed about al Qaeda activities in Libya and is considering a deployment of troops near Libya for counterterrorism operations.
French President Francois Hollande said in a speech last month that Libya-based jihadists represent the main security threat to North Africa and also to Europe. He told a reporter May 23 that the terrorist threat in Mali “began in Libya and is returning to Libya.” The concerns are based on recent intelligence reports that al Qaeda and other jihadists groups have new training camps in the southern Libyan desert.
Further east in Africa, Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood government is creating an environment that is allowing al Qaeda to develop in that country.
A U.S. intelligence official has said reports from Egypt identified al Qaeda groups operating Al-Azhar University in Cairo. The university is said to be a covert base for al Qaeda organizational and training activities that is developing a jihadist network made up of many different nationalities.
Al Shabaab in Somalia continues to conduct attacks, with some armed fighting among various groups within al Shabaab. The group remains a key al Qaeda affiliate. Attacks related to al Shabaab continue to increase, according to U.S. officials.
One particular concern for security officials are reports that al Qaeda is moving into Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. A U.S. official said in May that al Qaeda elements were conducting small arms training in the mountainous areas of the Sinai Peninsula in preparation for fighting alongside jihadist rebels in Syria. The al Qaeda affiliate in the Sinai was identified by U.S. officials as Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (ABM). The group’s logo is similar to that of al Qaeda—a black flag, an AK-47, and a globe.
Saudi Arabia has been battling the affiliate al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, which tried several high-profile airline bombings against the United States. The group is led by several former inmates of the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and is very active against the government of Yemen.
Earlier this year, a leaked memorandum from Saudi Arabia’s Interior Ministry revealed that Riyadh is exporting al Qaeda terrorists to Syria. The memo from April 2012 disclosed that 1,239 prisoners who were to be executed were trained and sent to “jihad in Syria” in exchange for a full pardon. The prisoners included 212 Saudis and the rest were foreigners from Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, Jordan, Somalia, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq and included Palestinians.
Syria’s al Qaeda group is the al Nusra Front, which has emerged as the most powerful rebel group opposing the forces of the Bashar al-Assad regime.
Obama said in his National Defense University speech that the “lethal yet less capable al Qaeda affiliates” and domestic jihadists remain a threat. “But as we shape our response, we have to recognize that the scale of this threat closely resembles the types of attacks we faced before 9/11.”
The Lignet report said the use of sanctions and financial penalties against al Qaeda produced the unintended consequence of transforming al Qaeda into a coalition of loose, localized, autonomous terror cells.
“In terms of financing, al Qaeda’s shuria or high command council, no longer plays a central role in allocating expenditures or soliciting funds,” the report said. “Instead, terrorist financing has moved further into the ‘gray’ economy. Cells raise funds from a combination of charities, independent criminal ventures, and licit businesses.”
Crime is now the main source of al Qaeda funds and criminal activities by the group include extortion, hijacking, theft, blackmail, the drug trade, and kidnapping for ransom. “Counterterrorism efforts that target the financing of terrorism are a work in process,” the report concludes. “The measures employed by the United States and others in the last 12 years have reshaped rather than resolved the terrorist threat.
Joseph Myers, a retired Army officer and specialist on the ideology of Islamist terror, said U.S. efforts to target and kill al Qaeda leaders have been successful. But al Qaeda affiliates are spreading “from the Horn of Africa, across North Africa and post-Gaddafi Libya into central Africa to Dagestan and like-minded bombers in Boston,” he noted.
“Al Qaeda is an idea, not simply an organization and ideas are not easily ‘killed,’” Myers said in an email. The U.S. government’s counterterrorism paradigm is misguided because the forefront of global Islamic jihad is not al Qaeda, but the Muslim Brotherhood “we are now partnering with as a matter of policy,” he said.
The doctrine of Islamic jihad remains the key ideological threat that must be recognized, he said. Until that is realized, “we will continue to have national security failures of analysis and prediction and not only al Qaeda, but other Islamic jihadist groups will continue to emerge and spread,” Myers said.
Fred Fleitz, a former intelligence analyst now with Lignet, said al Qaeda has shifted tactics toward “a multitude of smaller, low-probability attacks.” “This includes recruiting members behind U.S. borders through Internet-based efforts to find and radicalize ‘home grown terrorists,’” Fleitz said in an email.
“I am especially concerned about the recent plot to bomb a Toronto to New York train which was backed by al Qaeda members in Iran,” Fleitz said. “This was a good example of what al Qaeda can still do.” “We are also seeing al Qaeda franchises and other Islamist groups growing in strength in Mali, Somalia, and Nigeria. Seven of nine Syrian rebel groups are Islamist and there is an al Qaeda presence in Syria.”
Sebastian Gorka, a counterterrorism expert and military affairs fellow with the Foundation for Defense for Democracies, said the administration has created a narrative that asserts the United States is solely at war with the remnants of al Qaeda Central and that the group is on the decline since bin Ladin was killed.
“The rest of the national security mission in counterterrorism has been reduced to the amorphous ‘counter violent extremism’ which is of course fallacious since as a nation we are not threatened by general violent extremism – Basque separatists or abortion clinic bombers – but a specific brand of religious extremism: global jihad,” Gorka said in an email.
“Anything that countermands the official narrative, such as the the Fort Hood shooter or the Boston bombers, has to be undermined with labels such ‘workplace violence’ or ‘loser jihadis’ since anything else would mean that al Qaeda is very much alive and well,” said Gorka, who teaches U.S. national security at Georgetown University. “This represents a politically driven distortion of objective threat assessments.”
Last month, seven people found trespassing near “critical infrastructure” — a water reservoir just outside of Boston that serves the city’s metro area and much of the eastern part of the state — were cleared of terrorist suspicions. This week, the clerk magistrate decided not to press charges against the individuals, but the Massachusetts State Police are appealing this decision.
The group, which included Muslim adults from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, were detained by authorities, interviewed and later released. After an investigation, it was decided they were not engaging or planning to engage in criminal or terrorist activity.
Although trespassing in and of itself was against the law, the clerk magistrate decided this week not to issue criminal complaints against those in the group, which had been summoned to Belchertown district court, according to The Republican. But the state police are appealing the decision because the trespassing took place at a “critical infrastructure key resource site,” Massachusetts State Police Spokesman David Procopio told The Republican.
“In our view, the clerk’s decision was contrary to our past understanding with the court, specifically, that the continuance without criminal complaints (which is how minor motor vehicle matters are generally handled) is not the resolution in cases involving violations of the Quabbin watershed rules. This has been the practice in recent years,” Procopio said.
To be clear, the appeal doesn’t seem to be pushing for terror charges, but rather trespassing ones. As of right now, the appeal is waiting judicial review, Procopio told The Republican. TheBlaze contacted the state police department for a comment but did not hear back in time for this posting.
With no criminal charges yet, the names of the trespassers remain undisclosed. This case couples with an incident in early June wherethree of the four locks to an aqueductoutside of Boston were found cut.

The Muslim Brotherhood was handed a tactical defeat on June 4, 2013 in Manchester, TN. The FBI and DOJ (Department of Justice) appeared at a meeting called by AMAC (American Muslim Advisory Council — Muslim Brotherhood) in Manchester, TN. It was to include a talk by a US Assistant Attorney General and an FBI agent in charge. The meeting was due to a joke posted by a Coffee County Commissioner on Face Book. The DOJ Assistant Attorney General Killian said in a newspaper interview that the joke might be in the category of a hate crime. Over 1200 people came from all over the US to a meeting in a town of 10,000. The web had buzzed about free speech in Manchester and talk radio chimed in.
In the course of the presentation by Killian, several in the audience began to shout our retorts to him. At first some in audience tried to shush them, but the momentum began to build and the shouted challenges increased in numbers and volume. It should be noted that the shouts were factual and knowledgeable. An example: when it was mentioned how hard it was to be a Muslim refugee: “Free medical care, welfare and scholarships tough to take?” When Killian said that DOJ protected voter rights, the shouts were to the tune of: “You mean like protecting the Panthers in Philadelphia?”
There were also knowledgeable shouts about Islam: “We don’t care about the religion, it’s the politics. No Sharia.”
When Killian mentioned Eric Holder, the room erupted with thunderous boos. People were angry about the Feds. The FBI agent presented a better face, but he got blow back as well. Chants of “Ruby Ridge” and “Waco” rang out. This was a “mad as hell and not going to take it anymore” attitude.
There has been both praise and condemnation of the crowd. But to understand it, you had to be there. There was a palpable pent up anger about a long string of corruption out of the Obama White House: the IRS scandals; Major Nidal Hassan’s jihad called “work place violence”; vacuuming up everybody’s phone records; and more. They felt that the Feds were here to talk down to them, not to answer questions.
The Feds came to talk down to them since they are considered rednecks. Those rural white people who are not politically correct are called rednecks. Rednecks are the only under-class who have no protection or advocacy. They are the only group that can be mocked, ridiculed and made the butt of jokes. The worst of the ghetto blacks are forbidden to be called the equivalent of redneck, the N word. There is no RN word. Nope, they are rednecks, trailer trash, crackers, white trash and worse.
Another measure of society’s hatred of rednecks it this: if the shouters in the audience had been black, the media would have said that they were: “Speaking truth to power”. They would be reported as victims against oppression and fighters for social justice. But rednecks are called bigots and ignorant haters. Why did the rednecks have to come and oppose political Islam? Simple, our leaders will not do the job.
The leaders in the pulpits of America are professionally ignorant cowards. Ministers and rabbis go to Family of Abraham events with Muslims and tip toe around any criticism. They cry over the Crusades and believe whatever they are told by Muslims. Over 100,000 Christians were murdered last year and there is an ongoing jihad against Israel, but not a word will be spoken to the Muslims about the Islamic crimes. Tears will be shed over graffiti on a mosque, but not one mention of Christians being machine gunned at Christmas services in Egypt.
What university has ever held an event where the jihad doctrine of Islam is discussed? Critical thought and fact-based reasoning are not allowed in their forums and curricula. The history of the deaths of 270 million Kafirs has no place in history departments. Sharia cruelty is not taught in feminist studies. No word about Islam may be spoken without approval from the MSA (Muslim Students Association, a Muslim Brotherhood front.)
Will law enforcement and the military protect us against political Islam? They do not even recognize the existence of an Islamic threat doctrine. All information about Islam in terrorism training must be approved by the Muslim Brotherhood. Will the media protect our civilization in a civilizational jihad? Not just no, but hell no! The media is Islam’s mouthpiece and a savage opponent of everyone who opposes Sharia law.
What about American business? Islamic business fuels civilizational war with unlimited funds, just as the Koran commands. As an 11 year veteran counter-jihadist, I am unaware of American business support for the counter-jihadists. There may be small donations, but no systemic funding. Muslims get billions, and our fighters get a thousand. How will that work out?
Well, if the preachers, rabbis, professors, reporters, military, politicians, law enforcement and business are absent in a civilizational war, who shows up? Isolated warriors such as Spencer, Geller, Bostom, and others are the front line fighters. Oh, and Tennessee rednecks.
The Tea Party types and conservatives say that we should always be polite. My personal experience is that I have presented talks about political Islam that are very civil and polite for years. It doesn’t make any difference. I am still called a bigot, hater, Islamophobe, racist and merchant of hate. I have been told by community leaders that it is people like me that stir up the terror. They say I am an unpleasant man who frightens people. The Southern Poverty Law Center says that I am one of America’s top 10 bigots. “Doing it right” is judged to be immoral. Being nicer may not be the way to win a civilizational war.
Our society has become so wimpy and politically correct that there is no longer any righteous anger. We have become a nation of pleasant liars who are never angered at society’s outrages. We are ever so polite to those who destroy our civilization. We are a nation of zombies, but polite zombies. There have been over 20,000 jihad attacks since September 11, 2001, but you don’t want to mention that since someone might become uncomfortable or be offended.
For years we have watched as Muslims and dhimmis (apologists) have put on a multicultural love fest with Islam. In every case Islam has dominated. This was the first time in 11 years that the Kafirs dominated the information battle space in Tennessee — the first time.
How do we dominate the information battle space without shouting? Analyze what went right at Manchester. Here is what we and the rednecks did right:
• We showed up. Now is in this case we had 1500 show up, but we cannot use massive attendance as a usual tactic. However, a normal AMAC event would have put out chairs for a 100 people. We don’t need but a dozen people to dominate the meeting with information.
• We knew the doctrine of political Islam. We knew when people were lying or telling a half-truth.
• We knew the event was happening. We had intelligence and knew who the players were.
• We opposed the lies by voice, leaflet and signs. This is what rednecks bring to the party—rednecks are not politically correct and speak their minds. (That is part of the reason that they are hated.) They don’t give a hoot what the media/government/church types think. This spirit must be carried into every meeting. We must speak up and speak out. This is hard for those who are ruled by being “nice.”
We must learn how to co-opt the events without shouting. We must be organized and show up at every public event where Muslims come together with their ignorant dhimmi (apologist) partners. All of these events should become information battles. We should show up with signs and leaflets. If they will not allow signs, then bring cloth banners which can be put into bags and backpacks. We must do these things politely, but with authority like a warrior. And forget about the question and answer session for scoring points – the Q and A is always: write down your questions and we will select the ones we want to answer.
We must invite the Muslim Brotherhood and all of their supporters, such as government agencies and ministers, to our own events to explain their position to us, not in their power position of speaking down to us, but in a round table event centered on fact based reasoning.
The Manchester event was a rough hewn victory. We must learn lessons from it and then show up for every battle against this civilizational jihad.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has appointed Attorney General Jeffrey Chiesa to the Senate following the death of Senator Frank Lautenberg. Chiesa, who will serve until a new candidate is elected, has led the Christie Administration’s outreach to Islamist radicals. Christie also appointed a Muslim terrorists’ lawyer for Superior Court judge in 2011.
Imam Mohammad Qatanani, whose deportation is sought by the Department of Homeland Security for not disclosing on his green card application that he was arrested and convicted by Israel in 1993 for his involvement with Hamas;
Ahmed Shedeed, a fervent supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and President of the Islamic Center of Jersey City, a mosque with a history of Islamist leadership. Its website currently contains disturbing statements about jihad, the West, wife beating and polygamy;
Mohammed Younes, the President of the American Muslim Union, a group with Islamist leadership and close ties to Qatanani’s mosque, which was founded by a Hamas fundraiser; and
Imam Abdul Basit of the New Brunswick Islamic Center, a mosque founded by a radical cleric. In July, it held a Brotherhood-linked seminar featuring multiple extremist speakers.
When serving as U.S. attorney for New Jersey, Christie embraced and kissed Mohammed Qatanani, imam of the Islamic Center of Passaic County, and praised him as “a man of great goodwill.”He did this after Qatanani had publicly ranted against Jews and in support of funding Hamas, a U.S. government–designated terror organization, and on the eve of his deportation hearing for hiding an Israeli conviction for membership in Hamas. In addition, Christie designated a top aide, Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles McKenna, to testify as a character witness for Qatanani
The Department of Homeland Security has been trying to deport Qatanani because of his Hamas links since July 2006. His green card application left out a 1993 conviction in Israel for his involvement with the terrorist group. Shortly after his release, he moved to N.J. to lead the Hamas-founded Islamic Center of Passaic County, alongside a later-convicted Hamas fundraiser. The DHS took note of Qatanani’s cash transfers to the West Bank.
A2008 court filing by the Department of Homeland Security summarized: “It is certainly suspicious when a person who has been convicted of being a member of, and providing services, to Hamas, who has personal ties to a Hamas militant leader, and a Hamas fundraiser also sends undisclosed cash to the West Bank.”
As U.S. Attorney, Christie defended Qatanani as a “man of great goodwill.” His Assistant U.S. Attorney, Charles McKenna, was as a character witness for Qatanani during the trial. Christie later appointed McKenna as the Director of the N.J. State Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. McKenna is now Christie’s Chief Counsel.
Qatanani was preaching extremism, even as the trial was ongoing. He was originally granted permanent residency against the objections of the DHS, but the Board of Immigration Appeals overturned the decision.
The relationship between Qatanani and the Christie Administration, particularly Chiesa, continued. In 2011, Christie picked Qatanani’s attorney, Sohail Mohammed, as a Superior Court Judge.

In May 2012, Chiesa cleared the NYPD of breaking N.J. law in its counter-terrorism surveillance. He immediately met with Qatanani afterwards, as well as the executive-director of his mosque and an official from the N.J. chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspiratorin a Hamas-financing trial and was labeled by the U.S. government as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity.
Christie judicial appointee, Sohail Mohammed, an immigration lawyer who represented detainees caught in the post-Sept. 11 furor, watches the Fox series ‘24’ at his office in Clifton, N.J. “Somewhere, some lunatic out there watching this will do something to an innocent American Muslim because he believes what he saw on TV,” Mohammed said.
On July 24, Qatanani attended an Iftar dinner at the Governor’s Mansion, where Christie called him a “friend” and said his critics are “bigots.” Chiesa attended Friday services at Qatanani’s mosque in April.
There are three other individuals on Chiesa’s Muslim outreach committee with concerning links. Mohammed Younes is the President of the American Muslim Union, a group with close ties to Qatanani’s mosque. Younes served on the mosque’s board of trustees and the two organizations have had at least five common officials.
Ahmed Shedeed is the President of the Islamic Center of Jersey City. As the Clarion Project’s original story showed, he is a fervent supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood and was even photographed at a rally in New York City for Egyptian President Morsi. The website contains anti-American rhetoric, justification of jihad, promotion of polygamy and links to an article titled, “Does Islam Allow Wife Beating?” The given answer is that “a husband may use some light disciplinary action in order to correct the moral infraction of his wife.”

Imam Abdul Basit leads the New Brunswick Islamic Center. The mosque was founded by Islamist Imam Zaid Shakir, who said in 2006 that hehoped America is one day governed under Islamic law, according to the New York Times. Now, Chiesa is temporarily a U.S. Senator—and if a Christie presidential bid succeeds, he may have yet another major position of influence.

It is alleged that the gunman’s name is John Samir Zawhawi who killed his father Samir Zawhawi and brother in a house said to be owned by Samir Zawhawi. Certainly sounds like a Muslim name to me. But the media are keeping mum on this potentially inflammatory aspect of the slaughter. Wouldn’t want the DOJ to start arresting reporters, would we?
LA Times(h/t Matin) The shooting rampage that killed five (some say six), including the suspect, lasted for about 10 minutes. The violence began just before noon Friday, when gunshots rang out near Kansas and Yorkshire avenues, a quiet neighborhood near the 10 Freeway.
A house there was engulfed in flames and a man wearing all black with an ammunition belt around his waist was standing outside, holding a large rifle in his hands, an eyewitness said.
Firefighters later found the bodies of two men inside the house. Police sources, who requested anonymity because of the ongoing investigation, said the men were Samir Zawahri, 55, the owner of the house, and one of his adult sons. A second son is suspected of being the shooter, the sources said.

The gunman accosted the driver of a Mazda hatchback, told her to stop, got in the vehicle and told her to drive him to Santa Monica College. The gunman fired several rounds at random into the neighborhood with a semiautomatic rifle, witnesses said. Near Cloverfield and Pico boulevards, the gunman fired on a transit bus from front to back, shattering windows.
At a parking lot at 20th and Pearl streets, the suspect fired at a red Ford Explorer, hitting its driver, Franco, who died at the scene. Franco’s passenger was seriously wounded. Campus police intercepted the gunman on the edge of campus and exchanged gunfire with him, authorities said. They continued to trade shots as the man ran toward the school’s library and shot a woman outside the building’s entrance before disappearing inside. The woman outside the library later died at a hospital.
During the rampage, five people were also wounded, two seriously, police said.

Over the last state legislative session, Senator Brian Nieves introduced SB 267, Missouri’s American Laws for American Courts legislation, entitled, “The Civil Liberties Defense Act.”
This common sense legislation would protect Missourians’ individual fundamental constitutional rights from foreign laws or legal doctrines where the application of those laws/doctrines would violate those rights. (No particular foreign law is singled out.)
Brigitte Gabriel and our national staff have made the passage of this legislation a top priority for the 2013 legislative session. This is a vital step in the overall protection of the nation. This erosion of Constitutional authority must be stopped.
The bill moved successfully through both chambers of the Missouri state legislature and on May 22nd was sent to Governor Jay Nixon for signature. Missouri was set to become the SIXTH state in the nation to protect its citizens from foreign laws that run contrary to either the state or federal constitution. What happened?
Governor Nixon vetoed it.
This common sense legislation received strong public support throughout the state of Missouri as it was moving through the legislative process. What happened?
Governor Nixon vetoed it.
The bill passed overwhelmingly in both houses of the Missouri state legislature (House: 109-41; Senate: 24-9) demonstrating overwhelming support by members of the state House and Senate. What happened?
Governor Nixon vetoed it.
The bottom line: Governor Nixon vetoed SB 267 after it received overwhelming support in the legislature and throughout the community. This causes us to believe that he and his staff did not truly and diligently consider this important legislation.
Further, it is very disconcerting that the Governor’s public “objections” amounted to CAIR talking points and, sure enough, the first group to come out and crow about his veto was HAMAS-tied CAIR.
But there is good news. The margins by which SB 267 passed in the House and Senate mean that there is a very real possibility that the veto can be overridden. We just need to let the legislature know that this is what the people of Missouri want.
Will you help us override Governor Nixon’s veto of Missouri’s American Laws for American Courts legislation, SB 267, so that Missouri can join the FIVE other states that have seen this important legislation become law?

What better way to commemorate the anniversary of September 11th in Washington DC than to see the streets and lawns of our nation’s capitol littered with Muslims lifting their asses to Allah and praying for America to become part of the new Islamic Caliphate spreading throughout the Middle East and Europe? September 11th is the one day of the year when Muslims are better NOT seen and NOT heard.

We at AMPAC (American Political Action Committee) are planning an historic event for 9.11.13 where one million Muslims will march to Washington D.C. and demand that our civil rights be protected by our government.
We are demanding that laws be enacted protecting our (Islamic) 1st amendment . We are asking President Obama to fulfill his promise from his first campaign for Presidency of a transparent government.
Lastly we are asking for the release of the 9/11 commission report to the American people. On 9.11.01 our country was forever changed by the horrific events in New York. To this day every media outlet and anti Islamic organization has committed slanderous and libel statements against us as Muslims and our religion of Islam. Yet our Government either sits idly by and does nothing to protect our freedoms or it exacerbates the problem with its constant war on terrorism in Islamic countries, congressional hearings on Islam in America, and its changes to the NDAA law.
These lies told to the American population has made it impossible for us to do true Dawa (proselytizing for Islam). Why do we have to defend our religion while doing Dawa? Why can’t we just share the perfection of the Quran and the beauty of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SWS)?
It is time for us as Muslims in America to stop being defensive and start being proactive by using our right to vote and our freedom of assemble and let our voices be heard by our country and the world. Stand with us help us fight the injustices being committed against us.
Help us to wake the American citizen up to the truth and together Muslim and Non Muslim can take our country back to its true Democracy which is “For the people by the people”. U.S. Attorney Bill Killian was shouted down by patriotic Americans as he tried to address the crowd Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at an event billed as a discussion of public discourse in a diverse societywith a focus on the Muslim faith when, in fact, it was a subversive anti-First Amendment move by the pro-Islamist Obama Regime to make any online criticism of Islam a federal crime.
Tennessean Hundreds of people (actually about 2,000) turned out at the Manchester Convention Center Tuesday evening for an event billed as a discussion of public discourse in a diverse society, with a particular focus on the Muslim religion. People were turned away at the door because the facility was too full. Some grew angry and started hurling terms such as “communist,” “socialist” and “Muslim” at law enforcement officials.
The indoor event, sponsored by the American Muslim Advisory Council, was countered by a large group of protesters (led by Pamela Geller), both outside and inside the facility. Some who made it in before admission was cut off continuously interrupted the speakers.
The interruptions were so intense at times that attendee Elaine Smith, 55, of Bedford County, said she was afraid of other audience members. (Excellent!)
“I came here because I wanted to learn something … but I couldn’t hear because the audience was so disrespectful,” she said. “I cried when I got here. It makes me really sad especially because these people say they’re Christians. The God I worship doesn’t teach hate.” (But the God of Muslims does, you stupid bitch)
During the keynote speech given by Bill Killian, U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District of Tennessee, audience members continually interrupted, making it difficult to understand what was said. Killian brought a PowerPoint presentation that covered the First and 14th amendments and what constitutes a hate crime, among other things. He read the First Amendment verbatim, between interruptions.
Kenneth Moore, FBI special agent in charge of the Eastern Tennessee District, took the podium after Killian.“Our presence here tonight has generated some controversy,” he said. “People think we want to step on and stifle their First Amendment rights. Nothing could be further from the truth.”
Moore said the FBI was continually working to build relationships with worshippers of Islam and other faiths because “they are essential” to keeping the country safe. (Yes, safe for an Islamic Caliphate take over)
Protester Larry McIntosh, 54, of Manchester, said he was skeptical of Killian and Moore. “I feel like (these) men are attempting to intimidate people with the freedom of speech and that bothers me,” he said. “I would like to say that Muslims have a right to live here and worship freely, but I do not think they have the right to change American law to fit Sharia law. Violence no matter where it comes from bothers me.”
Former “Saturday Night Live” star Victoria Jackson was among the protesters. “The Constitution and Sharia cannot coexist,” she said. “Islam is evil.”
Event organizers said they chose Manchester and Coffee County because of a Facebook post made by Coffee County Commissioner Barry West last month that said Muslims were best greeted behind a shotgun barrel. West later apologized for the post, but it has since ignited a First Amendment debate.
Gene Policinski, senior vice president and executive director of the First Amendment Center, a nonprofit educational initiative with offices on Vanderbilt campus and in Washington, said the First Amendment does not restrict the right of a public official to express opinions.
“Are public officials held to a higher standard than you or I? I think yes, but it’s not a limitation,” he said. “There’s nothing in the First Amendment banning anyone to say things that people find repellant, distasteful, repugnant or even bigoted. The antidote that our founders provided for speech is more speech, not less.”
The threat posed by al Qaeda terrorism around the world continues to increase despite President Barack Obama’s recent claim that the central group behind the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks is on the path to defeat, according to U.S. and foreign counterterrorism officials and private experts. The U.S. government’s counterterrorism paradigm is misguided because the forefront of global Islamic jihad is not al Qaeda, but the Muslim Brotherhood “we are now partnering with as a matter of policy.”
