Sheikh Hassan Seifeddin, imam of a mosque in the northern Aleppo neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsud, “was killed overnight by rebel fighters in the area and his body was dragged through the streets,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

AFP  Syrian state news agency SANA reported that Seifeddin was “assassinated by terrorists who mutilated his body afterwards,” while official television station Al-Ikhbariya said he had been “slaughtered” and beheaded.

“The ulema [clerics] of Aleppo denounce this despicable crime committed by the enemies of humanity who assassinated Sheikh Hassan Seifeddin and laid his head on the minaret of Al-Hassan mosque in Sheikh Maqsud,” the station reported.

Sheikh Maqsud is a majority Kurdish district of Aleppo, and fierce battles between rebels and regime forces have been raging since Friday in its eastern quarter where much of the district’s non-Kurdish Sunni residents live.

The ulema called on the Syrian army to “liberate Syria from the criminal mercenaries with obscurantist ideas,” in an apparent reference to hardline jihadist groups amongst the armed opposition.

The Observatory said 31 people had been killed in Sheikh Maqsud in 24 hours, including 10 civilians, 14 pro-regime gunman and seven rebels.

At least 157 people were killed through Syria on Friday, according to the watchdog group which gathers its information from a network of activists and medics on the ground.

But alas, this wasn’t the first time Obama sat below his favorite terrorist. The last time was when he paid a visit to Arab-occupied Judea-Samaria during his campaign in 2008.

And here we have Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen) giving a big smooch to Yasser Arafat before he died (of AIDS).

Finally, a decent reporter comes to CNN: Jake Tapper. Too bad this warning from the King will fall on deaf ears as Obama is behind the Brotherhood.

Of course it isn’t really Barack Hussein Obama, but the actor playing the role is a spitting image of him. Type casting? Freudian slip?

Perhaps not so coincidental is the actor playing Satan. His name is Mehdi Ouazzani and he’s from Morocco, a Muslim (just like Obama) most likely.

Apparently, more than 4,000 released prisoners who were in prison for more than five years, are still receiving their full salaries, while sitting at home, doing nothing.

Considering that the U.S. contributes hundreds of millions of U.S. tax dollars to the Palestinians every year, it seems fairly obvious that they are following the Obama policy of  getting as many people as possible to suck the government teat.

AL.COM  Laird, of Roanoke in east Alabama, announced Monday that he was becoming an independent. On Friday, Democratic leaders rebuked Laird for sending the offensive email to legislators and constituents prior to his party switch.

On Jan. 23, Laird sent an email to a group of recipients that included House Speaker Mike Hubbard, R-Auburn, state Rep. Duwayne Bridges, R-Valley, and state Rep. Mike Ball, R-Madison. Also copied on the email was Mellie Parrish of Lineville, a member of the Randolph County Democratic Party Executive Committee. Parrish provided a copy of the email, saying she was “disgusted and shocked” by its contents. House Minority Leader Craig Ford, D-Gadsden, said the message was “very distasteful.” 

Laird, 73, who has represented Chambers, Clay and Randolph counties as a Democrat since 1978, told the Associated Press that he may have forwarded the email but that he didn’t originate it. He said he doesn’t like the policies of the president or Pelosi and that his disagreement with Democratic Party politics is the reason he became an independent. 

“I’m leaving the party because I think it left me a long time ago,” Laird said when announcing his decision to become an independent and said that he would caucus with the GOP in the state House.

In the spirit of the story, this could be the only time you’ll ever see a ‘pig’ kissing up to a Muslim:

On Tom Trento’s radio show today, former FBI agent, John Guandolo, who wrote the first Muslim Brotherhood training manual for the FBI, outs John Brennan, Obama’s nominee for CIA Director, as having converted to Islam while working in Saudi Arabia.

Imagine having a CIA Director who thinks like this…

Mediaite The conservative radio host defended Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) and Louie Gohmert (R-TX) over their concerns that the administration has been “infiltrated” by the Muslim Brotherhood.
