Angry residents of a small Texan town have threatened to put pigs’ heads on poles and pour the blood of pigs onto land which has been earmarked for a Muslim cemetery in Farmersville. The latest manifestation of fast-growing anti-Islam sentiment in America surrounds a small plot of undeveloped land 35 miles northeast of Dallas.
Telegraph It is a row which predates the killing of five people at a US Marines recruiting centre in Chattanooga, Tennessee by Kuwaiti-born Youssuf Abdulazeez last week.
Some residents of the Farmersville, which has a population of 3,000 said that their main concern was the way in which Muslims inter their dead (In shrouds with NO caskets in the ground).
“When somebody dies they bury them at that time. They don’t know whether they were shot, diseased or anything else. All they do is wrap them in a sheet from the grave and bury them,” Troy Gosnell told the local CBS station.
Patricia Munroe voiced fears that local drinking water could be polluted. “We used to grow onions here. We sure enough don’t want to be growing bodies,” said another resident, Mont Hendrick.
Feelings ran high at a town meeting earlier this week, where direct action was proposed to prevent the Muslims pressing ahead with the project. (Video below) Take and dump pig’s blood and put pig’s heads on a post so they won’t buy the land,” one resident said.

Ah. My area of expertise. INSIST on an environmental impact report that includes all mapping of aquifers and underground runoff. I hear a lot of bs from the islamic representatives. Are any of them trained in hydrology?? I have to disinfect my own well because it’s fed from an underground stream that collects runoff from nearby ranching and farming operations. Water percolates into underground streams that then gather in aquifers that feed wells and water supplies. That is a valid concern!!! Especially if bodies are being dumped into the ground and decomposing without doctor’s certificate stating cause of death. INSIST on a thorough study!!! This can affect wells miles and miles away. If local planning commission disregards, contact state and federal authorities! Doesn’t matter what the undertaker says, matters what health depts and environmental protection agency says. Might just end up on the same side as the lefties on this one. If they give a go ahead, file for an injuction to stop until all studies are completed. That, given gov. agencies backlog, should take at least a few years and buy some time.

The thing is, if they want to have a cemetery, then they should have to follow the same health codes as anyone else. Religious freedoms do not trump the community’s right to a safe, healthy environment. Their religious rights end when they infringe on the community’s safety and well being.
Soil contains many species of bacteria. In and of themselves and in naturally occurring environments, they may not be harmful; however, some very toxic agents will lay dormant until the right conditions present and then they will replicate exponentially. What provides a more supportive environment for bacterial growth than a dark, wet closed off space and a corpse? Depending on soil and subsoil conditions some may not be filtered out. They would need to do a core study of the ground which involves drilling down and collecting soil specimens at various locations to determine the permeability of the soil, and water runoff both above and below surface. It’s very involved and very expensive.
Let the muzzies gamble and pay for it prior to permits. Then permits issued only if all environmental reviews are indicative of no harmful agents seeping into the water supply. Many of these toxins can travel downstream in underground aquifers and have been known not only to contaminate wells, but also foods. There are cases of crops that use a lot of water, such as lettuces, cucumbers, melons being contaminated by watering.
Because so much of the plant is composed of water, it absorbs the poisons in the water. Even with washing, the food is still contaminated because it’s the water itself that the plant has absorbed that is the poison.
There are far too many harmful bacteria to list here, but if I was going to go up against this, I would do so on a public health and safety basis, because that’s exactly what it is. They want to make it about religion. I’d advise not to. I’d stick to the health issues and not allow them to make it about religion. They’ll try because that’s what they do best, but it truly is an environmental and public health threat. There are reasons for health codes. Some nasty stuff out there!

I realize this is satire.. but the people being interviewed don’t realize it. This makes me so sick. I am a white man in America. I had no control over this. Both my folks are white.. go figure. My Dad worked a blue collar job, my mom stayed home on the farm. We had no extra money whatsoever. I have been given NOTHING from anyone my entire life. As an adult, I made a choice to have only two kids, because that’s all I felt I could afford. I had to move several times, through several states before I could find a solid job that hadn’t been given away to a minority. (I ran away from Affirmative action in California just to find work!) What are Islamic practices regarding the handling of dead bodies? Even the ancient Israelites had ceremonial laws regarding cleanliness, including laws on handling the dead. We read this in the Old Testament. They understood that precautions had to be taken. Natural disasters in third world countries, for example, result in all sorts of sanitation problems from dead bodies, do they not?
I remember reading several years ago about the high infant mortality rates in Britain (this was probably during the Victorian era, but I’m not sure) until there it was realized that doctors were delivering babies without first washing their hands after handling cadavers in their classes. Then the connection to the high mortality rate was made.
Also, there is no mention in this article of any local funeral directors being present at this meeting to address these concerns. Where are they to speak out about this? Aren’t there state laws that funeral directors have to follow? It’s my understanding that Muslims do not use funeral directors, but nevertheless it would be useful to have input from them.
The recent outbreak of Ebola started with Islamic dead body and burial practices.
I guess here in the West, they must follow municipal rules, thus a plain wooden coffin for burial. However, the dead body ritual is another story and this is where the danger lies.

Susan, I heard this on a brief news item which appears to have been swiftly smothered. Some of our people, including soldiers, are expected at taxpayers’ expense, to travel to Africa and deal with the Ebola outbreak.
We in Britain are pestered to give money to charities trying to prevent Muslim child marriages and provide clean water, food and education in Africa while wealthy Muslims change their designer clothes two or three times a day, wear Rolex watches etc. Our tax pays for ‘aid’ too.
